That is certainly true. The fact I cannot comprehend a correlation between being a True Christian and how accurate you are at summarizing paragraphs at least says that I am not so lost within my own argument that I cannot see where I have clearly said something ridiculous.

I've got a $2500 bet on with Pastor Isaac Peters that you're a woman. I maintain that only a woman could write a solid wall of text when all she needed say was, "I've lost my faith and will support the underdog, as I see it."

Pastor Isaac Peters reckons that you are a 14 year old catholic male who has become hysterical at the thought you have lost your faith and that Satan may grip your wizened soul. You are therefore trying to save yourself by works rather than faith alone.

At first I was in the tl;dr group, but when someone calls one of our Pastors a liar, I'm going to check it out.

What Pastor Peters said was accurate, except he left this part out.

I'm afraid I can't summarize myself in a paragraph concise enough that Levi Jones wouldn't feel the urge to cry "tl;dr", seeing as apparently that's very easy for a new poster to do.

You might have noticed that I did respond to your introduction thread. I very seldom say tl;dr, but this was such an extreme case, that it was justified. If this person wants a conversation with us, he or she has to be a little concise.

I find it almost amusing that so many 'True Christians', who claim to have read the Bible in its entirety and continue to study its contents, would have such difficulty working their way through a few paragraphs of text. I felt that to give any sort of account of my background I would have to explain things a little more fully that the standard name, address and bank details I suppose you're more used to getting. If you're not interested or can't be bothered to read the whole post then simply don't, or alternatively, summarise it in a few lines as Levi Jones has kindly done.

On that note, I fail to see how anything I said in my introduction suggested I was mocking God. Seeing as I made it clear that I do not believe in God it seems ridiculous to suggest that I would mock something that I don't believe in. I might mock the concept, or even those who claim to believe in that concept - but I did neither of those things in my introduction.

Perhaps you are suggesting that I am mocking God simply through my lack of belief in, him which just seems rather petty, particularly for an omnipotent deity. If we then consider that you believe God has pre-determined that I will not believe in his existence then God is, in essence, mocking himself - albeit indirectly.

Well, you’re both wide of the mark I'm afraid. From the dates and ages I gave in my introduction it's fairly easy to work out that I am about 18 years old (congratulations to BelieverInGod - who I'd like to thank for her prayers and wish her sons all the best in their own 'youthful rebellions'). As for my gender, not that it should really matter in this context, I'm male. So if neither of you have won, as would appear to be the case, may I suggest that you donate that money to a worthwhile charity as neither of you seem to be in particularly need of it.

The words of God are "somewhat" more intelligent and interesting than those of a ranting child. Compared to God, you are an imbecile. Perhaps compared to other humans you're not an imbecile, but compared to God, you certainly are.
