I used to think this, too. Then I started looking into the history of the sacraments, as well as the theological arguments for them. If you aren't afraid of finding the Truth, I would suggest you try this as well. Eventually you will realize that your life without the sacraments is no different than life with the sacraments (we can explore how and why if you'd like).

In other words, they are but habitual rituals for the sake of keeping your mind focused. Keeping your mind focused, however, does not require mystical talismans. It just requires attention to detail, and practice.

But you claim to have the absolute truths of the bible understood. The thing with God is that no one can ever know Him on earth. We can only do what we believe he wishes.

Which of the following do you believe?

1. God has clearly expressed His will.
2. God cannot clearly express His will, in which case He is not omnipotent.
3. God can clearly express His will, but chooses not to do so, instead forcing us to guess at what is required to avoid eternal damnation, in which case He is a monster.

If you believe 2 or 3, then you are not a Christian, and what you call "God" is not worthy of worship.

In my defence, i am a christian and a have accepted Jesus as my saviour.

Could someone please explain to me why the term "unsaved trash" is being used to, in some part, refer to people on this site.

Are you planning to come back with a sword out of your mouth to KILL 1/3 of humanity, and banish the majority to eternal suffering in Hell? That's what Jesus does in Revelation.

Which bible are you reading in? Even the Children’s edition should cover the following:

Leviticus 18:22
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

You should follow the whole Bible and not just the bits and pieces that you like.

Deuteronomy 28:58
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

It seems to me your so called religion is homemade. No interpretations for the sake of God.

When and where did you accept Jesus?

What about Jesus do you most admire? I personally like His honesty to those who work iniquity. They are going to burn forever and he makes no bones about it. Do you gain deep satisfaction when you see people who mock you and you know they will burn forever? I know I do.

did you know that Jesus also said..."Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."? or do you prefer teachings from the old testament only? meaning let those without sin judge and only those without sin may judge.

the Bible also says not to judge because you'll be judged 7 times over for the same transgretion.

and for whoever phrased every sentence in my post. i never said i wanted to be like Jesus the way he his decbribed in Revelation or any kind but follow his example!

i find it hard to believe that christian would call another one of satan's demon's. i find it hard to believe that you even read the bible as the whole bible is the truth, even parts of it is absolute truth. never have i said that that i cherry pick christianity to my liking. there is a clear difference between the coming of jesus and what happened before the coming of jesus. "he who accecpts Jesus as his saviour and beliefs in him shall have enternal life!" I believe in Jesus and i am proud of it. i shall not let anyone of you stray me from my path in Him. i'll pray for you. it seems that we dont read from the same book. never in my life have a come across christians calling others satan's minions.
