    Hey Everyone

    HI GUYS,

I am new at this forum and i am now introducing myself.
I also have a question which has been bothering me, back before Jesus and Judaism in places like Ancient Greece, how could the people there know about God if no one told them, and they are following false gods, would they go to hell?

    Re: Hey Everyone

The is no "Back before Jesus":
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:17

2nd Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began ,

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

And these are Jesus' very words, "
John 17:5 “And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”"

I assume you have no more problems and are ready to be washed with the Worm Blood of The Lamb?

I think what you're trying to ask is if a people never heard of Jesus Christ, would they still be damned to Hell? The answer is Yes. The Bible makes it clear in many places that only believers in Christ will inherit the Kingdom of God while those that do not are damned for all eternity. Obviously if a person hasn't heard the Gospel, they wouldn't believe...and would therefore fall under the category of "non-believers". Nowhere in the Bible is there a disclaimer that says just because someone has not heard of the Gospel that they get a free pass to Heaven.

        Does that answer your question?

The evidence of God is all around. They chose to worship idols. They are Damned eternally.

I feel you are trying to apply Human compassion where God, The All-Knowing, The Wise, The Compassionate, has a plan that transcends our feeble brains.

Anyhoo, what's it to you if a few thousand Greeks are feeling the heat of their sins?

Lack of knowledge of the lord is no excuse, the bible clearly states this as they are non believers the lord will come down upon them with the force of a Cleveland steamer and send them all to HELL

              Mr Alley Cat,

Not much of an introduction if truth be told, but I will get to that in just a minute.

As you have asked questions, I am more than happy to comply.

God has always been. He is The Creator. In earlier times, God revealed himself in multiple ways, perhaps foreign to us in our day and age, as man had not utilized the brain God had given them to get his message via new fangled contraptions like the printing press or the internets.

Through Moses and then through Jesus-(the earthly form of God) people learned what God (also Jesus) is all about and he spelled out quite clearly in the KJV1611.

Perhaps if you spend some time dousing yourself in His word, the answers to your questions will make themselves more than obvious to you.

Now, how about you get going on a proper introduction.

What has brought you to Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ?

              What is your favorite Scripture?

That is at least a start for you and I do look forward to your replies.

              YIC,

              Mrs.P.Wintersnow

Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!
