    Des' first go

    Hey! I'm Desmond.

I have many friends within the local baptist community and they encouraged me to find a forum online where I could meet people outside the small church to see what it's like around the globe. I figured USA is the religious Christian centre of the free world so here I am!

I'll just hang around, ask a few questions, maybe find some stuff out about not only myself, but the world as a whole!

Oh, and don't be afraid to ask anything. I have nothing to hide.

    all the best,
    Des

Where abouts in the USA? Is it sunny there?

            Edit: woops, I misread!

What's your favourite piece of scripture?

A woman came up to me the other day, 12/6/2016 and said:
"But Mr. Winner, if GOD loves everyone then why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.

                Welcome.

                What is your favorite scripture?

                      Thank you!

I haven't figured out a favourite scripture yet. I haven't finished the "good book" yet even - my friends are urging me constantly.. "Why are you so slow?", they ask. I take my time. I'm at The Book of Micah at the moment.

I'm not married yet. I haven't found someone yet, I suppose. Still, there's somebody out there for everyone, isn't there?

I don't have children yet either.

Who doesn't like pie!? haha - I remember when I was younger, me and my big brother went to Johannesburg to see our aunt and she had made pie. It was the first time I had ever tasted pie and I constantly sought for it afterwards. My favourite pie is apple pie.

The Lord Jesus Christ is someone that I've been growing up with, he's been a part of my family as long as I can remember. Until now, I haven't really acted on religion much, other than it being part of my upbringing but I want to find out more. What can I do for God, what can God do for me? Stuff like that.

And bat feces? What do you mean?

I think people need to see what modern day Africa looks like. Many people use computers every day.
Sure, in Somalia, they're not very technologically advanced but here in the south, it's different! Also, I'm lucky to be in a wealthy family.

and sure, there are lions at savannahs but there is no point in catching them.

What is your real last name? Is it Mugamwawambe?

I knew a Mugamwawambe once, when I went on a mission to convert you heathens to Christianity. Young Mugamwawambe would wash my feet every night and massage my stiff, throbbing muscles.
