Well I will have to think about that. Yes I did come here and like I said in your other thread we can't expect to change people, so that applies from me to you too. . (BUT a baby isn't born a deep religious passionate, that's learned. So maybe, is unlearned too.)

I don't want to change your belief, I just want you to lay off your actions of bashing the young gays and lesbians like my daughter who have a chance for a happy life in this day and age. But extreme people (I will not say You) try to ruin it for them. That's what bothers me, when beliefs turn into actions that hurt others

Well I'm still figuring it out life's a journey. Sorry I couldn't explain it better. Maybe when you're older like me you'll understand.

I'm just saying okay you believe in a god fine. But stop trying to line everyone up against the wall and hold a bible to their throat and threaten them. saying if they don't believe they're going to die and burn to a crisp. You can't prove that so I don't think you should state it as fact.

If all it were was that unbelievers burnt to a crisp, that would be bearable. The problem is that you burn to a crisp over and over and over again, for eternity and that is almost like, er forever.

Almost any True Christian on the forum can prove it. All the proof they ever need is in the 1611 King James Bible, those unchanging, inerrant God-breathed words.

Which is why it has no place in the legal system and gets tossed out. you can't prove it....so no one's life here on earth can be made to hang in the balance of what this God reported as said

I have been here for 2 days and explained myself and am still being called an atheist in post after post which is not right.

First) I am not atheist. I am not telling you your god doesnt exist. I am saying he does not exist for me or my kids because he has never called or shown his face. When and if he shows up, fine. It would be an interesting day. But it hasn't happened so the jurys still out.

Second) Of course a pro writer explains it better than me. She's getting onto what I mean when she says "Difference between agnostic and atheist is Atheist is a religion. It's absolutely dogmatic. It makes an absolute stand about something that cannot be proven; There is no god. You can't prove that. A strict agnostic says you can't pronounce as knowledge anyything you cannot demonstarate. In other words if you're going to call it knowledge You have to be able to run an experiment on it that's Repeatable. You can't run an experiment on whether god exists or not. Therefor you can't say anything about it as Knowledge. You can have a BELIEF if you want to or if that's what grabs you. Well I slept on it and talked with my husband not because someone here told me to but because we talk before bed at night on how the days went etcetra

Yes I decided its not fair for me to be making you look at your beliefs like I was. Yes how would I feel if I had a agnostic page and you were butting in not good. So Ill let go of making you look at your god and JUST do what I came here for which is clearing up all misconceptions people list here having to do with my daughter who YES is a lesbian and YES you think things of but reading the newspapers and seeing with my own eyes tells me are not legally or medically true. So then people can see both sides and Im not challenging your religion I am fighting for my daughter like a lioness would fight to protect her cub that is what any parent would do. You know that if you have kids

So no more personal stuff from me I am just setting records straight but I won't hurt your feelings any more because yes we do have freedom of religion and yes just like you don't want to take any beliefs away from me you know now I do nt want to take any beliefs away from you. that is equality a important thing

If someone's goin to want me to follow him all my life and even bring my kids along, can't he spare 5 minutes to stop in and introduce himself? Why would I follow someone I never met? That doesn't make sense IMO (in my opinion)
