I'm a 20 year old female, majoring in Biochemical Engineering here at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT), and I'm Roman Catholic. I enjoy reading, political satire, mathematics, and dancing. I hope I'll get a warm welcome from all the folks at the Landover Baptist Church.

Oh, my friend you are mistaken. You see, here in Boston, many Irish families are Roman Catholic. I've gone to Catholic School all my life, and I finally made it to MIT, where I am currently studying Biochemical Engineering - and yes, I am a woman.

My Fiance is also a student at MIT, he is majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I plan on giving him many sons, once we do marry.

Welcome, but there is no need for any further "biochemical engineering". Have you not read His Word?

If you cannot control your sinful pride (and I have seen nothing in your posts to indicate that you can), then yes. God wants nothing to do with the arrogant.

Proverbs 16:5 "Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished."

Proverbs 16:18-19 "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

"Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud."

I'm not mocking anyone, I tell you this in full sincerity. I was raised a Catholic from birth, I was blind to it's flaws and faults, since I was so ignorant to true Christianity I never tried repenting, but I know deep in my heart that I must.
