I believe alot of the bible is true and literal. Most importantly though, I believe Jesus Christ who came to Earth was literally God in power and substance and I believe that he literally died and literally rose from the dead on the 3rd day to save anyone who loves him and trusts in him. Does it really matter how old the world is or what shape it is, really?

By saying that THE BIBLE isn't ALL true, then atheists can say "If that isn't true, then none of it is TRUE"

Even if some of THE BIBLE seems all crazy and weird and hard to believe, you HAVE to believe ALL of it, or you're a sinner!

Actually, no matter what you believe or don't believe, you are still a sinner. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
We are sinners by nature. That does not however, justify the fact that we sin. Thank God for Jesus Christ dying to take away our sin, and forgiving us despite the fact that we continue to sin everyday.

Take any map of the world from any atlas.

Try to fold it, twist it, do whatever you want and make it into a sphere.

You will fail EVERY time. This is because as the Bible has told us, the world is not a sphere but is indeed flat. And it is an impossible task to try to recreate the map of the world as a sphere.

Thank you, Brother Hank. I don't understand what's so hard to comprehend. God said it and it's so. What else is there but God's Word? Nothing.

Just out of interest, where abouts in the bible does it say that the earth is flat?

I've covered this twice this week alone just in the Introduction threads complete with the Hebrew explanations. I've also explained it off and on throughout other threads in other forums several times since December.

Of course he died for everyone! I don't know which version of Christianity you're looking at, but you might want to review it.
Saul was responsible for the killing of many, many Christians; the latter day versions of a terrorist. Yet who did God choose to spread his message?
I live in hope that one day we can see religious extremeists turned to Christ, after all, love the people, hate the sin.

First of all, only those who choose Jesus fro 100% can be saved:

• John 14:6 "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but by Me."

Second, only Christians can be saved, this means not Muslims, atheists or democrats, who will all burn in Hell!

• 2nd Chronicles 15:13 "That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman."
• Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
• Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
• John 15:6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."

Third, only those who have stopped sinning can get into Heaven: Jesus' words to the adulterous woman He had forgiven in John 8:11 are: "go, and sin no more." God only forgives those who stop sinning!
