New User. What's up with Damnation here?

Hi guys!

My sister and I are looking around on here...and I just noticed that people are getting banned and "eternal damnation [is] assured" for like, no reason? What is wrong with having a belief opposing others beliefs? I don't even care if this posts makes me "eternally damned" for forever!...aren't we supposed to love everyone? Yet there are people on here who are claiming that God hates them and people should die? Like this? That's crazy unreasonable. I'm posting this type of stuff on here, because I am a Baptist Christian, but this stuff is kinda confusing my sister and I (I'm 17, and she's 15). If you can help us out, that'd be most gracious. Because what people are doing on her and condemning people like me who are just curious...that's just wrong.

That's like saying that red-haired people are satanic because their hair's red, so they will go straight to Hell. That just doesn't seem to make any sense to me... Well friend, I didn't write the Bible, I just follow it, and to the letter. For a good start on who is damned, please see Pastor Ezekiels signature. Again, if you read the Bible, you'd know all this already. Are you sure you're Baptist? What version of the Bible do you read from, the Fisher Price version?

Also, I have no issues with gingers as long as they God Fearing Baptist gingers.

All right...I guess I can tell about myself...I'm 17 years old, have a firm relationship with God...don't think I should bring up my political beliefs. I am involved in our local First Baptist church, and am involved in Praise Team, Youth Group, and Choir. I came to find Jesus while at a Christian Youth event with a speaker named Clayton King. there...now you know about me. Can I just ask, why can't people have differentiating opinions on controversial issues on this site? This is by no means intended to offend anyone as I am just curious.

Well, I didn't know all of this information about him, I apologize. He was at a Christian conference I went to, and he was the speaker. His words were so true. If it's not the same for you, then I'm sorry. And this is just out of curiosity, if action figures are the "toys of Satan" then what did your kids play with? All of this sounds stange to me...but this is helping me figure life out (I guess)

But if we were truly Christian soldiers, wouldn't we be reaching out to those in need of Christ's forever-loving grasp and encourage them to take the next step into His embrace? With all of the condemning, it's pushing them farther away, because all of this condemnation (pardon my language) crap is making it seem like there is no hope for them anyway. All of the racism is painful to read about when I think about how many people were injured or even killed through the radioactivity and tsunami and earthquake. Why can't we extend our Christian love to them?

Fine. I'm up for a challenge, bing on Mecha-Godzilla! All that I'm saying is that the hurtful things being said about countries like Canada, Japan, and Sweden are unnecessary. God says in Matthew to do unto others as you would have others do unto you...I think that includes saying that God hates certain people because they aren't American. Thank you for the sarcastic input, but I will be happy to continue this discussion. By the way, I read the New International Version of God's word, thank you very much. Just wondering, do you believe in Divine Choice? Where God chooses who He wants in Heaven like who someone wants on their kickball team, sir?
