My bad on no introduction. Was long time christian now after much reading on another path. Well new to posting andgot an infraction (being almost entirely innocent of rhetorical accomplishment?) for just making a jest about the old adage that there aren't any atheists in foxholes. Just wrote that it's not an argument against atheism but an argument against foxholes. Sorry to get any persons' knickers in a bunch.

I've been reading a few threads on this site and I've got one question. Why all the hate? I vaguely remember reading and hearing that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. Yet I see many posts filled with hate. Reading some of these makes me remember why I found another path. Saw too many that called themselves christian yet were not christ like at all. Not much different from what I've read hear. one more thing, insulting ones intelligence because they don't agree with your dogmatic beliefs is no way to convert someone.

Yes, "vaguely remember" being the operative word here. You are what is wrong with America. People spreading nonsense about Jesus without bothering to read the Holy Bible.

• Deuteronomy 12:31 "You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods."
• Hosea 9:15 "All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters."
• Matthew 13:41-42 "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
• Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

just got more infraction points for"sexing it up with satan"? Not sure what that means. Thought I had given full introduction but seems I forgot to throw my name in there. So, you can call me Kevin. I have gone to many churches. From jr.high school until I got out of the military I went to a Foursquare baptist and liberal Baptist. During my military career, went to Pentecostal church. I also visited Assemblies of God, and various christian congregations. I went to young life and different bible study groups. Also I've attended catholic mass and a mormon sermon. it wasn't until a friend asked me, "why do you reject so many other gods?". I gave the answer I thought was right , faith, that it's written in the Bible, and would quote some scripture. Well after some intense conversation, I left with questions left unanswered and now just live my life with a karma attitude. By the way, friend that ,i guess you'd say, led me astray, went to Awana and young life. Hope that is sufficient enough for you. Have a nice day, Kevin.

You sound like a very confused young Christian man. Usually the problem is excessive Biblical interpretation. You need to just read the Bible and follow it and stop trying to make it fit your own personal agenda.

more infractions. For whining? however, I wasn't whining. I was just stating and didn't understand what the phrasing used meant. well congratulations"christians" on this page. I've been belittled by people that don't understand science. You're stuck in your dogma beliefs so an intelligent conversation isn't going happen. However what gets me is all the judging. You have no right.
