Hello fellow warriors of the one true God! I feel blessed to have come across such a loving, inspiring, and spiritually beautiful group of like-minded followers of Christ!

Here are some things about me:

Favorite bible verse:
Isaiah 13:16 (KJV) Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.

Some people, even fellow Christians, will tell me that this is not an appropriate verse of the bible to claim as a favorite. However, I do not believe anything in The Holy Bible is not appropriate! Also, I like this verse because I feel that there are too people out there that claim to be Christians, but live sinful lives because they do not take God seriously enough! He loves you, but he's not made out of kittens and teddy bears! He means business! Don't break his rules! Bad things will happen!!!

My almost darkest secret:
I was not circumcised as a child. I know this may sound silly to some of you, but I am still trying to find the strength with the help of the Lord to get the procedure done. Feel free to pray for me to find the strength to do so.

How I Share Christ
I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is "cool", and that it's "cool" to believe in him. He is powerful. He was a rebel in his time. His love is pure. And he allowed himself to be tortured, to be crucified, to be sacrificed, for our sins. If that's not "cool" then I don't know what is. So... when I share my love for Christ with others, I don't feel like a square. I let them know just how amazing, awesome, and cool it really is to love him, and follow his teachings.

You quoted the wrong Bible. Here we only use the pure and unaltered King James Bible.

Second - what really sets your soul blazing for Jesus about that verse? What does it mean to you in context?

You see, every once in a while we get someone who has googled possibly the goriest part of the Bible they can find to see if it in some way shocks us and makes us become edgy about the Bible. This is in fact a waste of time.

Ah, you're right. I meant to use the KJV. Hmm.. I am not even sure how that happened. Sometimes I feel like my computer is possessed.

I actually like Isaiah 13:16 so much because it shocked ME when I first read it! I spent 8 years at Central Christian Academy in the KS state as a kid, where they cherry-picked the bible for fluff. Which I have no idea why. One of the teaches was completely fine with telling us at the age of 4 that we can't bring our toys to Heaven. After knowing that... who cares about diced and ravaged heathens who deserve what they got anyways?

But anyhow, the verse represented to me, the parts of the bible that were hidden from me for so long. I don't believe that The Holy Bible, the very word of God, should be directly or indirectly censored, even for small children. The reality of God's almighty wrath, anger, and even jealously is nothing for a Christian to be ashamed of, or scared of telling their lovely kids about.

I am very excited to be here. I've known of this church for years now, but I just recently stumbled across these forums. Someone on Google+ posted a link to a thread here about the Diablo game. I knew the game was basically moral sodomy in a box, but I had no idea just how extremely SICK and TWISTED it was! It's like they aborted their morals, and then started packaging and selling their giant moral abortion for the worlds consumption. The game effectively turns your keyboard and mouse into a Satanic coat hanger of debauchery, so that kids can perform their own moral abortions at home.

Sorry for the rant Billy Bob... It just ANGERS me to see Blizzard selling America's children $60 tickets to Hell in the guise of a video game! The employees at Blizzard Entertainment are spiritually molesting children with their filthy software! It's spiritual pedophilia!

Welcome, young man. The Holy Spirit is telling me that your yearning for Christ's love is genuine and that you truly desire for Him to enter you. However, to walk with Christ, you must abide by His Word, as perfectly inspired and perfectly preserved in the King James Authorized Version ©1611. False "Bibles" will only serve to lead you astray.

If you do not have your own copy of the Word, I exhort you do download your own copy at my colleague's website and put it into a binder for your study.

I like how they supply an online (HTML) and offline (PDF) version for my laptop as well as giving me directions for creating a binder. I too am interested in the answer to this question as I have a (distant) relative who resides in Utah. I am currently unsure whether it is wise to visit and would appreciate the insight of a Christian native of the region. I have heard it is dangerous to even approach the borders of Utah, since residents there, as a general rule, hate men (due to there being a high demand for females to make multiple wives, and very little room for more males.)
