Hello to all my fellow humans

First let me say I love you all. You are all so special because you are like me, a human. This means that, like other animals we are all connected by the wonder of the world we find ourselves in. However, we have such a special place due to our intelligence and ability to make things with our hands that evolution gave us.

I have no favourite church because to me all ways to see the world are equally valid. It doesn't matter if you are a hindu or moslem or buddhist, you are all such wonderful people trying to find your own way to make sense of this marvel of consciousness we all share.

Jesus to me is just an expression of our need to make sense of existence and is just as special as ganesh is to hindus who like elephants in some special way I don't understand (but respect totally as is only right and proper).

I think it is just so important to love everyone and respect everyone as we make our way through life while being true to ourselves.

I know this is a christian forum so I will try my hardest not to tread on any toes while listening to your thoughts on our inevitable love for each other and our respect for whichever god (or none) that we follow.

Friend, perhaps you've been misled.

This is a forum for Baptists to get together and praise Our Lord Jesus Christ, and this particular forum is where you introduce yourself and tell us some specific things spelled out at the top of the page, like where you go to church, what your favorite Bible verse is, and how you came to find Jesus.

It is not a platform for discussing hindoo bestiality, some ridiculous notion about undiscerning love for everyone, or the completely debunked "theory" of evolution.

My apologies for the confusion on your part.

Matthew 22:36-40 -- Master, which is the great Commandement in the Law? Iesus sayd vnto him, Thou shalt loue the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy minde. This is the first and great Commandement. And the second is like vnto it, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe. On these two Commandements hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Why are you cherry picking and only paying attention to half (the lesser half) of the commandment? We True Christians(tm) follow the entire 1611 King James Bible and do not merely pick and choose the warm and fuzzy parts.

I think you are somehow not following me. I am basing my beliefs soleley on the idea that we are one in humanity and all have a right to our own take on life. The bible is no more valid than any other idea about why we are conscious.

To make that inane statement you have to know and understand the Bible. Please back up your assertion with chapter and verse from the 1611 King James Bible or admit you are making things up out of thin air and all you really have is blind faith in some atheist, pagan agenda.

That's nice, but it's not what the Bible says. This forum is about the Bible (KJV1611 in particular). If you would like to discuss the Bible and it's teachings, your further participation will be welcomed.

If, however, you continue dropping whoppers like, "to me all ways to see the world are equally valid", you'll find no friends here.

I appreciate that at first the words of a stranger may seem inane. It is because I love all men that I take no umbrage at our little clash just now. I'm sure you are a warm and loving person. As I said, I love all humans and I am here to experience your view on this wonderful world that we find ourselves living on. Don't you find the very air we breathe a joy and the view of the night sky and all its stars and the sun we orbit as just one of those stars so marvellous.

As the great Douglas Adams said, "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?"

First order of business, Humanist, if you are going to post then STOP POSTING WHILE HIGH!

Second, you said Jesus, to you, is "just an expression of our need to make sense of existence." If you don't become a Saved™ believer in Christ before you die, Jesus TO YOU will be the meanest, most fierce opponent ever, as you will have him to thank for being cast into Hell forever.

Third, your introduction is a hipster or atheist sermon. We'll have no muck from the unsaved here. UNSAVED UNWELCOME.

Fourth, your sickening talk about hippie love is especially offensive because all True Christians™ know that hippies talk about love as the sex addicts they are, and their protests against rules and government are merely an excuse to practice fecal masturbation and bestiality.

Fifth, Jesus doesn't love you and you don't love him--if you did, you would keep his commandments (I John 5:3). God hates those who disobey him (Romans 9:13; Malachi 1:3). Hence, he hates you.
