  • Blessings, dudes...

Bob here. From Loma Linda, CA, and now living in the little town of Whitman, CO. It's beautiful, man. I've got a little place in the mountains where I live by myself. It's a mile's walk to my church, and I attend services three times a week. I grew up in a church where we were encouraged to literally be God's soldiers. So I joined the Marine Corps after 9/11 and became a certified heathen killer. Did some pretty crazy stuff, but I survived the war. Got out in 2007 and have enjoyed surviving the peace. I've made peace with my demons, thanks to the healing and restoring power of the word. What a difference it's made.

I used to be a firebrand, but now I'm pretty laid back. However, when atheists and mis-informed God haters get all up in my grill, I get pretty fired up. I punched a dude out at a bar once because he just wouldn't let it go about Noah's Ark. "How could you get that many animals in a boat? This ain't Sesame Street, you know."

Anyhoo, glad to know that I'm heavenbound!

Roger that. Thanks for the welcome, Brother, and for the guidance as well.

To answer your question, I was with 1st Marines out of Camp Pendleton, specifically the 1st Light Armored Recon Battalion. I was a gunner in a LAV (one of those 8-wheeled vehicles with the turret on top) and later a vehicle commander. I served with Captain John Kelly and later with Captain Matthew Ridge. Kelly was awesome, but Ridge was a showboat who cared more about moving up the ranks than doing the job right and looking out for his guys. Oh, well.

At any rate, I'm glad I was in, but now I'm glad to be out...feels like I'm putting Isaiah 2:4 into practice (the part about beating your swords into ploughshares).

When that time comes and all the unsaved are screaming in Hell will be a great day.

And the haughtiness of men shall be made low:

18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks,
And into the caves of the earth,
For fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty,
When he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

          Hello Bob,

I am saddened to hear that you are living alone. Are there no good Christian girls in Whitman, CO that can squeeze out some Soldiers for Christ for you? You know God wants this to happen.

(Genesis 1:28) "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

          Yours in Christ,

          Z. Smyth

P.S. I used to live in Colorado, but i am unfamiliar with Whitman. How is the hunting there?

You're not supposed to make peace with demons; you're supposed to cast them out, for they are enemies of God!

Tell us, what kind of demons are possessing you? Are any of them mermaid spirits?

So... I take it from your word choice that you're a colored fella? You're not planning to steal our silverware, are you?

OH MY OH MY!! You boys have done so much of the Lord's Work bringing God's Word to bear on the Godless. You must be such a strong young man to have done so many fabulous things for Christ. I can only imagine what you've been through since the homo-liberal agenda has infiltrated the military with their recruiting of young twinklers. If you ever need Bible Counseling, you're never too old for a nice Fellowship Campout Retreat. You just say the word and I'll send a bus ticket for you! We can pitch a tent and Marcus will make cocoa as we study the bible by a campfire and shout Glory To God! Oh dear GOD! Prayer DOES work!

I'm also saddened by this, believe me. Whitman is a very small town, and it's getting smaller as the older population die off and go to either meet our Lord or burn in the Lake of Fire. I'm having trouble choosing a city to relocate to, though. I enjoy the Colorado area, but I'm concerned that moving to the city will only tempt me with some of those liberated city women who want to go to college and have jobs and make their men be the home makers (gasp). I love the city of Golden, but man...I can't take all the hippie freaks there. I would consider moving to Freehold, IA, but Iowa in general puts me off. Too flat. But you're right, Zechariah, I believe God DOES want this to happen, so I trust he'll work it out for my benefit.

Negative, Faith_Machine, on the race and stealing your silverware. As for possession, I'm not possessed, but I can see that I didn't speak as plainly as you folks are used to. In simpler terms, when I got back from killing the heathens, I found it hard to resist killing pretty much everyone (except for God's Elect, of course). So I needed to find the Peace that Passes All Understanding, which I'm in the process of learning more about.

Negative! I hate tofu almost as much as I hate cults. I only lived in Loma Linda long enough to graduate, then I got out of there. But you're right, it's crazy-land out there.

Thank you, Harry. I'll keep that in mind. Sounds like a real treat. Thankfully the twinkle-toes haven't worked their way too far into the Corps...that's more the Air Force and the Army. We were pretty unified in our anti-twinkleness and in our efforts to stamp out hajji heathenism.

And thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I bask in the radiance of the love of the Family of God here!
