Are you suggesting that the Bible contains contradictions? I assure you it does not. If it did then everyone would be going to Hell and that would not be fair to those of us who have ignored mountains of evidence and invested every ounce of available energy in maintaining immutable faith in God's well disguised existence to show Him how much we love Him and worship Him.

If you read my response to Pastor Sampson, I think this will adequately show you my opinion on the topic. However, on the topic of fairness, I wish to discuss with you some of my opinions on gay rights. Before I even begin to discuss my opinion, I understand that homosexuals are taboo in your church, and I wish to know if I will face serious strikes against my account if I even have a serious conversation about the matter.

In the mean time, I must log off because I have some homework to wrap up and I need to get some sleep before school tomorrow. I thank you for moving away from hostility, as that was highly disrespectful and unnecessary. I am going to be busy for a couple days, but I await James Hutchins's response and look forward to further discussion with everyone.

As I stated, I am in no way well studied on the bible. As far as me trying to enlighten you, I know I will most likely fail because The Bible (thanks to whoever corrected my lack of capitalizing beforehand) is a document as previously stated, and I can interpret it one way and you the other. Due to this simple fact, the argument will boil down to me holding a firm belief that I am right due to this line, and you correct due to that line. I have used the internet to try and aid me in my quest to find a contradiction in the bible, and here is a very simple example.

"God is satisfied with his works
Gen 1:31"
"God is dissatisfied with his works.
Gen 6:6"

Well, God is more of an artist than a mechanic or engineer. He didn't like what He painted, so He decided to start over by killing everything and everyone. What's the big deal? He's God. It's all His to do with as He wishes.

Romans 9:20-22 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

You see? God is patient. He doesn't destroy us all even though we deserve it!

Having not read The Bible in many years, I understand that this was probably used by some skeptical website to find a simplistic contradiction, yet it could be out of context. If "his works" are both referring to the same works and The Bible should be taken literally word for word, then my question is if, according to your belief, God should be allowed to contradict himself.

These are the types of serious questions that have led me away and my Church has not provided me with answers to various questions of the like that will quell my restless mind.

Now is the perfect time to read it, don't you think? Just read the Holy Bible cover to cover. If you don't come out a believer, I'll be shocked!

it is just that I do have a disagreement and I cannot help it. The mind inherently thinks about things, and somewhere along the lines in my development, mind just thinks differently then you.

Well there's your problem, friend. God is the Great Thinker, not you, not me. Try reading the Bible from the very beginning to the very end, every little last bit, and if you pray and believe you too can be obedient and be free from this curse of disagreement and thinking.

Have you always been a loner ranting at everyone else? Because here at Landover we are united in one belief and one goal and that came about after we read the Bible and looked at what it really said. Only then did we find each other.

That was a very thick concept for me to wrap my head around. However, I never claimed to say that you should believe everything I said.

Friend, I do not know why you are stalking me. I do not understand why you feel compelled to harass decent, God loving people. I will ask that you actually spend some time READING the 1611KJV Bible
Read it all, realize God meant it to be taken LITERALLY and not INTERPRETED. God had the Bible written so even the simplest of minds could follow it. You cannot cherry pick a word here, a phrase there. If you did that, a person could think it was a repair manual for the Delta Series 3106 single lever faucets. Even someone like you must understand that is pretty absurd, don't you think?

That's OK - when I first joined the forum I posted the most dreadful rubbish but Mr Hutchins always stood up for me when I needed it and I was not banned (by a very narrow margin I suspect).

Anywhere that sex perverts aren't "taboo" is not a Church.
However the word "taboo" itself is not appropriate here, deriving as it does from the prurient urges of Polynesian demon cults - of which there are many. The word is used in ignorance by heathen secularists and it probably doesn't matter much in their case since God teaches us that you're all going to HELL anyway, FOREVER.

The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 6:9 & Revelation 14:11 that there is only one outcome when people (including teenagers, babies and unborn fœtuses) ignore God's Clear Commandments and start pleasing themselves. Not only in matters of impure thoughts and actions of the type you have described but where reluctance to rebuke and correct those whom He brands ABOMINATIONS (the appropriate word for homosexual perversions on any Godly forum) is found God is clear: if we do not respond to you as He has directed we will be dealt with according to The Law having turned our backs on Him and abandoned Grace in the service of apostatising devils and as such fully deserving of the fulfillment of His Word revealed to John The Bible tells us:
