In addition to supporting false Christians and joos, this self-promoter is so pompous that he must mention in every post after the first how righteous he is to "forgive" us.

I was being sarcastic thank you. Obviously it is pompous for someone to ask for prayers for something they control. I think if you control it then you can only help yourself with the light of the Lord, right? What kind of "true Christian" are you to call me pompous? If scriptures said that, there would be no one to save and Christianity would have died out with the apostles. Not to mention it would contradict everything Jesus said about preaching Christ crucified to save people in the first place. Why would the Bible contradict itself? What kind of ignoramus comes up with hypothetical situation is this?

It is just trying to shock and show off to a bunch of kids. I doubt it has ever read a Bible.

I agree. Many scriptures may be misinterpreted. You must obviously use logic to survive. Look back at the Holocaust and mass genocides. There were many innocent that were killed, and some had to make their own logical choices to survive.

I agree completely that many scriptures can be misinterpreted. Otherwise, we wouldn't have over 34,000 "Christian" denominations that teach mutually exclusive things but still claim to represent authentic Christianity. Therefore, we don't interpret the Bible; we just read it.

Just a friendly word of caution: We do not tolerate anti-Semitism of any kind here, and that includes applying racist, revisionist history to the holocaust!

I've read the Bible cover-to-cover about a dozen times, and "logic" is not mentioned once.

Let's face facts: not everyone is predestined to hear The Word of God as perfectly laid out in the KJV Bible, nor to discern the True Meaning within. Have you ever heard the phrase "We're talking, but we ain't communicating," or "We are separated by a common language" or some iteration thereof? Lots of people HEAR God...few listen.

Damn... did I say anywhere in there that I believe I am better than anyone else? I was just saying that sometimes logic might win over scriptures and vise versa. . but you took it to a whole new "understanding". No Sir, I do not believe I am better than "some silly old God" and I am a Christian. Do you know me sir? Do you honestly think that you can sit at your computer screen and make up stuff about me when you don't even know me? You can't assume things sir. When you assume you make an ass out of you and me.
