I very rarely do this but I hadn't realised the God-hater Egan had posted an introduction and I made this post in another thread where he said that he hates God and wants God to change to be more like him therefore God has changed to be more like him and the Bible is all lies.

These soft Christians appeasing the God-haters with their watered down "Good News" message which actually translates to "I censored out all the bits you won't like or you'll find far-fetched, please be my friend and give me a free ride through life by calling me a priest and I'll tell you you won't really go to Hell and you'll feel better now for believing that" make me sick.

They want to live in the here and now with people thinking they're clever because they have all the answers to the afterlife question that should be being filled with God's message. And WHY do they do it? If they were Catholics we'd know they wanted to have sex with our children or sodomise each other or both at the same time. This guy; we have no real idea.

I'll hazard a guess that as he warps God's word to his agenda he just wants people to like him and think he's clever for its own sake and so he can be in a little fellowship of people all pretending God is warm and fluffy and doesn't really mind what they do and coming up with new ways to either twist scripture or ignore it all together.

As I said, sickening! He may as well be an atheist for all the ways he is killing God's word but he thinks he can hoodwink more people if he pretends to know God when he's just stating his own opinions and wants to use an idea of God to make them seem more valid.

They're thoughts in your own head EGAN! The Bible is where God's opinion is - not in your head.

It's better off here. I feel ill contemplating the evil of someone who would trick people into thinking that if they listen to made up rubbish in place of God's word they'll be Saved. All the time this person must know the people who listen to him are going to Hell. It's a disgrace.

Mr. Egan, I'm sorry you got off on the wrong foot. We really, really want you to spend eternity in Heaven with us, and if any of us seem a bit over-zealous, it's because the thought of you dying without coming to know the Lord is a thought we can not bear.

For a bunch of people who claim to be Christians, those who have replied are an awfully judgmental bunch. Those links to my affiliated sites mean nothing to me. I have dozens of websites that are infinitely more authoritative than this forum, and any value they would have toward my business interests is negligible.

Yet there are you, profiting from the punishments that God has put upon people - is that any way to make a living? Charging for God Given Gifts?

I don't know you, and even if I did, it is not my place to cast judgment on you or anyone else. That said, real Christians at least make an effort to try and conduct themselves in a manner reminiscent of Christ.

Given the state of the world (most reading this will know exactly what I am talking about), with the battle lines between good and evil having been clearly drawn for all to see, I offer the service to Christian churches regardless of denomination, as it is my belief that those of us who believe in the Bible and the Word of Our Lord Jesus Christ must set aside our differences, bond around our shared beliefs and try to introduce as many people as possible to Jesus while there's still time to do so.

Just a word of warning, friend. You are going to encounter serious difficulties if you stick with that opinion on this forum.

I have one more observation before I bid this forum farewell. Going through my comments, I cannot find where I stated that "God loves everybody" or that "All dogs go to heaven".

Your mischaracterization of my remarks and attempt to paint me in a false light by attributing to me statements that I did not make in an effort to discredit me and attack my character is the very same tactic used by the secular humanist left to brainwash America's youth into accepting the cultural rot that has led to the country's fall from grace.

True Christians, as you purport to be, have the truth on their side and need not resort to such underhanded tactics as those espoused by the King of Lies --- he who is behind the secularist movement that seeks to unite the world under a single government to be ruled by Satan himself.

Rather than condemn you, I simply point out the fact that you invoke the same lies and deceptive tricks used by the secular left to distance a nation built upon God's law from the principles that made America great. Those principles just happen to be consistent with Christian beliefs, unlike the secular society into which the nation has been transformed.

There will be judgment alright. All I said is that I will not be the one to judge. Without Christ's forgiveness, I would perish in hell for all eternity, and I am mindful of that fact, and mindful of the fact that God will judge all when their time comes, alleviating the need for me to act in a pompous manner as though I were God Himself, judging others based on zero information and condemning them to eternal hellfire.

I never said that judgment will not be handed down. You nonetheless lied in asserting that I did make such a claim, and then attributing several other statements to me that I did not make, nor did I imply.

I spent countless hours of my time and well over 10% of my income using my God-given abilities to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ online. So... basically you are saying that if the scriptures told you to jump off a bridge and die because you are judged by others as unsaved trash then you should do so because the scriptures are always right? No, I would probably point out how you're not reading it in the right context. I would then show you how it was a specific command for a specific time and show the other verses that don't support cliff jumping to make my case even more convincingly.

If scriptures said that, there would be no one to save and Christianity would have died out with the apostles. Not to mention it would contradict everything Jesus said about preaching Himself crucified to save people in the first place. Why would the Bible contradict itself? What kind of ignoramus comes up with a hypothetical situation as this?
