    No, no, no, corsets are fetish attire! The whole point is for you to stop dressing like a prostitute!

      Wipe that muck off you face, dress like a good woman and show us you can be in polite company, missy!

      I'm beginning to sense that history is about to repeat itself. So to avoid starting a time loop I'll just do what you said.

        Now that you've accepted Jesus, I think we should focus less on your clothes and more on your experience of His word. On average, how many pages of the Bible would you say you're reading in a given day? And how many pages per hour?

          Then why do you dress like one, Karen?

            But... okay.

            But can I wear this with that dress (purple colour of course)?

              I'm falling behind!

              Haha Anyway, as of late not much. It veries, I just ask God to show me what I need to learn at the time, open it up to some random page and learn.

                        Re: Raven seeks redemption

                        Any chance you could start making headway in praising Jesus?

                        I'll even show you how it is done: on my drive to work last night I was running really late and would have got into deep trouble (as I'm on a final warning (just for being honest)). I prayed to Jesus: there was an accident on the junction of the motorway just before I get on, leaving my route in absolutely clear. I sailed into work bang on time (thank you, Jesus!).

                        Coincidence? Of course not

                        Praise Jesus in his bounty!

                        Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

                        Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

                          Sigh.

                          I suppose I should be patient, because I know you womenfolk tend to be easily distracted by pretty things and petty concerns, but you need to understand that God does not want you calling attention to yourself with anything flashy or flowery:

                          1 Timothy 2:9

                          In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
                          You do seem to have a properly submissive attitude, though, and your meekness is exactly the kind of decoration God wants to see you wearing:

                          1 Peter 3:3-4

                          3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

                          4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

                            As I've adjusted myself into gothic fashion I'll have to adjust myself out of it. May take a bit, who knows.
                            Faith Machine I really want to thank you for patiently guiding me. This is exactly what I needed. I look forward to the day I become a True Christian.

                            Also can I do something about the "godmocking goth" title. It's a representation of the foolish me that arrived the first time round.

                                You should read the story about John Newton, who was a hell-bound slave-trader before he found Jesus.

                                The blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse all of your sins.
                                Matt 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:..."
