But as long as we're on the subject of "magick," I was wondering if you could explain something I heard the other night when I was listening to the radio show Coast-to-Coast AM?

The guest was a Wiccan/Pagan magickal type of fellow, and he advised listeners to shower at least once a day to cleanse all the "negative energy" which they might have accumulated throughout their day, especially from other people.

And he further advised listeners to swish a bunch of salt around on the floor of their shower as the water is swirling down the drain, just to make sure all the bad energy goes down the drain with it.

So my question for you is this: Could you please explain to me the physics involved in a person accumulating negative energy over the course of a day, and further explain whatever physics or chemistry enables salt to remove this negative energy and take it down the shower drain?

If you put and angry man in a room with a calm man the calm man will notice the others anger and this will affect him.

Do the same thing with a sound proof wall in the way and nothing will happen.

It is all down to expressed behaviour, not 'negative energy' (a term you will not define).

Salt does nothing of the sort. It's an emotional placebo for you is all. Prayer, on the other hand, has proven effect. If you don't get good with God, no amount of salt flushing will spare you from an eternity in Hell.

I would happily die for my LORD if He required it. Sadly, in this former great land of the United States of America, our religious rights are being stripped away so quickly that I would not be surprised if it came to that. It's getting down right dangerous to be a True Christian™ any more.
