I don't mean to sound argumentative Mr. O'fagon but I don't think some queer's dress fully fits the topic. Woman wore dresses even in the time of the Lord, so a dress being made to fit a man is still a woman's clothing. I'm just unsure if anything like jeans were even worn at the time is all.

Where to begin? Start at Genesis 1:1 and end at Revelation 22:21. Of course it will seem utterly unfamiliar to you at first, but stick with it.

Pretty much everything the mackerel-snappers told you is a LIE. You need to get that in to your head, NOW. Once you clear that hurdle, you will be running side-by-side with Jesus.

I found that reading the Bible and comparing it to Catholic dogma very quickly showed how much the Vatican was simply making stuff up to keep the money and winsome children rolling in.

Once you read the Bible and see just how consistent and powerful and frankly terrifying God is you'll see that the only sensible option is to believe in Him as much as we do. The Bible is all you need to start down the road of learning the truth about God and how much He deserves your unwavering faith and devotion.

I'd just try to put all of the past claptrap out of your mind and start at Genesis. I was sold on the actual reality of God by this verse:

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

At that point a light went on in my head and all that I had been told before was as dust. Why had nobody told me of the true wonders of creation? By the time I saw how wishy washy we are on morality by God's standards in Deuteronomy it was a done deal.

A short time later and I was washed clean of fear of Hell for good.

Hello again dear. I too had been raised in a cultist catholic family, and I too was blessed to be freed from the bondage of papist claptrap! Praise Jesus, He is there for us, even in the midst of the Whore of Babylon!

You might think of it this way, where the catholic church demands you pay heed to the pope by virtue of his supposed "infallibility," keep in mind, what you are actually asked to do is learn to interpret which of the many so-called infallible papal decrees are the correct ones. For example, would you heed Pope Martin V who declared (supposedly by virtue of the Holy Spirit), that

They [jews] should not be given other public offices, or admitted to any academic degrees, or allowed to have on lease lands or other ecclesiastical rents....They are to be compelled, under severe penalties, to wear some garment whereby they can be clearly distinguished from Christians.

or follow in the footsteps of Pope John Paul ll who apologized for that which was supposedly Spirit-led

The Samurai were wholly dedicated in body, mind and spirit to their feudal lords. If it were commanded of them they would happily take their own lives in his service. It has always sounded to me like the perfect dedication a Christian should have to the Lord God. The Japs merely dedicated themselves to the wrong "Lord."

Because those who preach His word are always under threat of persecution. Physical threats of violence or otherwise. If I remember correctly each one of the apostles were tortured and killed and not a one would deny him. So we should be without the fear of death in carrying out His will.
