Where in the Bible does it say that men and women are equal? In fact, 1 Corinthians 11:7-8 says: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

In regards to obeying my Godly husband and doing what he says all the time, the Bible says in Ephesians 5:22- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Hannah, it's always refreshing to find a young woman who recognizes that God's authority is what matters, not modern secular humanist values of "equality" and "rights".

I only regret that you're already married . . . But I suppose it's for the best. A city girl like yourself would be bored in North Salem, I'm sure.

Well one, I actually don't have makeup on. That's how I look naturally. Also, those earrings are really clip-ons that were remarkably inexpensive- only $5! That picture was taken on my 19th birthday. I was not aware that the clip-on earrings would classify as breaking the commandment of 1st Timothy 2:9!

Hello everyone- my name is Hannah Davis. I attend Memorial Baptist Church, and my favorite Scripture is 1 Corinthians 11:8- For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

I grew up in a Christian home, and came to accept Christ at the age of 4. I am married and am the happy helpmeet of my Godly husband, Mr. Jacob Davis. I have his permission to be here, however he chose to not register himself. I am the mother of 5 children, 4 male soldiers for Christ and 1 girl.

Oh, Brother Porter, I do so hope she comes back to share! As you know, I just LOVE hearing how the LORD works in our lives. Hi Hannah!

This is a great forum, isn't it? I haven't been able to post much lately, I've been volunteering with poor kids, helping bring them to Christ.

Also, I'm trying to find the owner of the dog in my avatar. It died a while ago after it ate something disgusting that I don't want to get into here. You see, I used to get drunk and go to clubs and do some nasty stuff.

But I walk in the Lord now. Nice to meet you!
