London has a number of Baptist churches. Which one is closest to you?

I am sorry; I must have misspoken in my earlier post. I am presently studying computer programming, not coding satanic filth! I do not nor will I ever program such vile things as video games. They idle the brain, dry out the heart and encourage violence and bloodshed. I feel hurt that you would assume that this is my choice of career.

As for Baptists churches being around me, I cannot find any at all.

I understand you hurt. The Truth© can hurt. But it's much better to be aware of your aiding and abetting Satan than to be ignorant of it, don't you think?

Now that you know, you can repent of your sins, and pray for the LORD to reveal to you just how to use your talents for His Glory!

      Have you looked?

First Baptist, on Richmond St, is where my second cousin attends. She loves her small group there! If you stop in, be sure to say hi!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

        Re: Hello, everyone

Friend, there are no joos living near me however that does not preclude me from having a good knowledge about them. Tell us, why were you brought up in such an ignorant fashion? Doesn't it bother you to be clueless?

God wants us all to be well learned:
        Ecclesiastes 7:12
For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

        Proverbs 4:13
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

        Deuteronomy 11:19
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

        2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

        Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Indeed, all these verses are true, but I have this for my defense in my situation.

Romans 10: 13-14: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

How can I know, unless I am taught? I come here with an open heart, and a hope for salvation. Brother Hutchins, I am before you and before everyone here like a newborn that has much to learn. I know the Bible for having read it many times. But perhaps I did not know what I was reading. Perhaps I can learn and thus be saved.

I am sorry that I haven’t come here for a few days. After praying fervently, I overcame my revulsion of Richmond Road (the street is a haven of depravity in the middle of downtown), I found the address of the Baptist Church (I had been looking for a church called Landover, hence not finding any). They welcomed me so warmly there. I feel as though I have found the truth.

The pastor was very nice and his words held true comfort to me, unlike any that anyone had ever told me. I still hope I can find guidance on this forum.

          Yours, hopefully, in Christ.

My friend, your obsession with font colors, bolding and italicizing makes us wary. Someone that does this foolishness is usually a very shallow and vain person, more concerned with themselves than sharing the unconditional love of Jesus Christ if we follow Him. The forum defaults are good with God.

I think they want you to say something profound about Jesus and how He hates gay people. That's usually how it goes here.

Of course, Jesus doesn't hate gays, He just wants you to believe in Him.

Shut up, you lesbian witch! We've told you over and over about how God hates gays. Leave it alone. It's like you are obsessed with trying to convince yourself you aren't going to burn in Hell.

Look, friend, just read the Bible. A child could understand it, it's so simple. If God says gays are an abomination and should be killed then that's right. If God says you are going to go to Hell for not believing in Him then that's right, too. There's no big trick to it.

                        In Christ
Ah, I see. I usually first write my answers in Office word to ensure that there are no grammar or spelling mistakes. I use different fonts and styles because of this bible verse as well.

Col. 4: 6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer to every man.

I always found that blue was a very calming colour, the colour of the skies above, and since I cannot in writing show a proper tone of humility and respect, I wanted to demonstrate it by adding this colour. I thought that bold and italic would be good to demonstrate my personnality.

As for my questions... Where indeed to start? I know nothing. I have read the bible, I wish to understand it, to worship God and to demonstrate my faith. I fear that anything I might ask may be misinterpreted. Henceforth, I do not demand answers, I humbly ask for help.

1 Peter 2: 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.

And so here I am. I am lost, I want to be found. I am ignorant, I yearn to be taught.

Why would we want to teach you? That's pretty much the whole problem, friend. Lots and lots of "teachers" with an agenda spinning the Bible up to meet their purposes, cherry picking like crazy. Do that for long enough and you end up with a cult like the Catholics where they don't know where their made up (by kiddie fiddlers) dogma ends and the actual word of God which is totally true and reliable begins.

Our message is simple: read the Bible.

                          Just read it.

Start at Genesis 1:1 and end at Revelation 22:21
It's a wondrous tale of God's love and hate and prohibitions against vile sodomy. But you have to read it yourself to truly get to grips with just how deserving God actually is of your worship and faith. God is as real as the fires of Hell, friend, and you cannot be shown this by taking someone's word for it - you have to read actual words from people inspired directly by God. The unambiguous and consistent nature of His word and how perfect it is should convince you.
Read it critically, without preconceived notions, and you will believe in God as much as I do.
