Actually, not long ago someone wanted me to act as an online "mole" to pass myself off as a Moslem and lure Muhammedans living around here to get closer to the church, and convert, but I told her I could not socialize wth such scum that support bin Laden. That was just a

You do know that Bin Laden was consigned to the Lake of Fire (via the Watery Deeps) long ago? He's probably not worth supporting any more.

I don't even want to imagine what can a self-proclaimed slave do to bribe other people.

On the other hand, I've heard that there were some people on the internet who lie. I find it hard to believe, and I cannot even begin to comprehend why anybody would do that, but apparently it happens. I am beginning to suspect that this could be the case here, because from what I know, real nuns are not into BDSM that much.

I fear you may be right, Sister. As far as I know, the only nuns who are into such practices are involved with Opus Dei; but they go in for self-flagellation rather than beating other people. And usually with metal, rather than knotted ropes.

It's never been something that's been widely discussed outside of the monastic world, and as far as I know, only some orders provide for these harsh punishments and acts of penance, but the Carmelite order is one of them.
