Re: Paying for pies
Amen, Brother Marko. However, we need to remember that the timeless morals of the Bible are somewhat different than that abominable modern atheist "ethics" that many claim to be following. (Whether they do or don't is a whole another issue).
Therefore, while robbery proper is a sin in the eyes of God, plunder of ungodly heathens isn't:
Deuteronomy 20:13-14
13 And when the Lord thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.
The Bible also contains how to plunder directions:
Mark 3:27. No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
Therefore, we can conclude that 1) theft is forbidden by God; 2) plunder of Hellbound heathens is not theft; 3) in order for the pillage operation to go as planned, the owner of the house needs to be bound first.
So, what does constitute a legitimate theft? Based on 1) above, we can safely conclude that only robbing another True Christian™ is a real theft. But - God tells us that not tithing enough is also theft - a theft of God's property:
Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
I hope that was helpful.
