I know what you mean, Brother Jim. There's a donkey sanctuary next door to our estate, and the children and I often wish we could adopt one of the animals. But my husband says they would wreck the lawns and of course he is right.

A man who works with my husband has been blessed with a very fine ass, too. Sometimes it's hard not to be envious, but then you remember to give thanks for all things.

Let's not torture this verse with whatever twisted translation you are using, but let's look at it closely:

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

It clearly says to love your own people, not some random strangers. Strangers deserve to be raped (Numbers 31:17-18), killed (Deuteronomy 20:16-18) and sold into slavery (Leviticus 25:44-46).

Now, I understand that this might be a difficult concept for you to grasp, and please don't feel bad if you cannot comprehend it (after all, it's not your fault that God created you as a lowly female), but here it goes: the little girls who were not slaughtered were kept as property of the warriors. The owner does with his property as he pleases. What happened next, some people would describe as rape.

Does she need to type out the entire Bible for you? If you read it every day as you claim, how can you have missed so much? The Lord is a lord of love, but He is also a lord of Justice, and love cannot exist without justice. Don't be silly. The Holy Bible tells us specifically from where faith comes, and it's not tiptoeing around the fragile egos of the unsaved.

My dear. As it is pointed out in the link kindly provided by our resident atheist, Mr. Didymus (for whose salvation I pray every day), Bible clearly says that we are to cherish and love and respect only our neighbors and other people like us, and not some random heathen strangers. Even in the quote you provided, it cleary says "your people" (thy means your), and not "all people."

Aside from our own community, the Bible also gives us detailed instructions on how to deal with heathens. I already quoted you some, and here is some more:

My Bible is the holy bible that my lord wrote, it has the old testomint and the new testoment. both must be read and understood but the new testoment is were the Lord makes his promises for filled, the old testerment is were God tell use his prophecies and the new testerment is were he forfills some of them (him coming to earth and dieing for our sins)
