I was given that by a friend of the family, and I've always kept that with me as it's easier to carry than the old family book. All I know about the older version, is that it's gold in colour and has 'The Holy Bible' written on the cover. I don't tend to use it for referencing though!

That thing is complete garbage. If you want to study what the Bible actually says, read the King James.

If you find that language too difficult to understand, use the English Standard Version it's still pretty good.

Firstly, thank you Cranky. Very informative and interesting article (as always).



The Rolling Stones are no-good God mocking satanists, they stole their name from the "rolling stone" encountered during the resurrection of Jesus. (who died for OUR sins, lest we forget)

God has seen what they are trying to do by stealing Jesus' thunder and has punished them accordingly:

Also the P**n "Industry" is huge in Britain, I get worked up just thinking about it. I sometimes think about how much better off Brittain would be if it was banned altogether, but there hasn't really been a mass-debate on the subject by politicians as of yet (they probably enjoy it too much themselves ).

Actually, sir, The Rolling Stones got their name from the Muddy Waters song "Rollin' Stone". It has no biblical relation whatsoever.

I honestly don't know where to begin in stating everything that's wrong and disgusting about this article.
I am greatly disgusted by the ammount of homophobia. Also, Simon Cowell is heterosexual. He dated Terri Seymour. Also, not all british people have bad oral hygene. British television is a remarkable thing. Doctor Who is one of the longest running shows on television. There is absolutely nothing wrong with gay television/cinema. If you're against that kind of thing, then don't watch it. I've listened to The Beatles and the Rolling Stones all my life, but I'm a drug-free virgin. I find it horrible that you think someone dying of AIDS is a good thing. Also, when you're quoting Romans 5:12 is incorrect as A)Heterosexuals can contract AIDS and HIV as well as homosexuals, and Even if you're married to someone, having sex without a condom in order to procreate, you can still contract STDs such as AIDS and HIV. The British people most certainly don't have identical brain damage, it's simply a custom there. It's a law made due to the complications of immigration that Americans can't go to England, not a law based of discriminaton towards Christians. Also, there are MANY people more lethal than British soccer fans. There is nothing wrong or unnatural about the human form. It's beautiful, just as God created it. There's a MUCH higher obesity level in America than in Britain. I take great insult to your saying that all countries but America are mindless sinners. I am a proud Canadian.

One way or another, quite recently, your nation eloped from many different countries, to the Americas. So technically you are not native to the country, thus you should also be worried that God might hate you too.

Beats me: the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is going straight to Hell for broadcasting anti-American programming.



CBC programming is decidedly anti-American, according to US diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks. A cable from the US Embassy in Ottawa to officials in Washington says CBC, Canada’s public broadcaster, “has long gone to great pains to highlight the distinction between Americans and Canadians.” The diplomatic note goes on to say “the level of anti-American melodrama” reached new heights with the launch of the show The Border.
The Border, which launched in January 2008, was billed as a show about the fight against criminals and terrorists at the Canada-US border. But American officials felt the CBC was pushing a storyline that the real fight was with shadowy Americans working with the CIA. “Many of the immigration team’s battles end up being with US government officials, often in tandem with the CIAcolluding Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS),” the cable reads.


The cable lays out several plot lines that portray Americans as arrogant, overbearing and generally not concerned with respecting Canadian sovereignty.


“The degree of comfort with which Canadian broadcast entities, including those financed by Canadian tax dollars, twist current events to feed long-standing negative images of the US - and the extent to which the Canadian public seems willing to indulge in the feast - is noteworthy as an indication of the kind of insidious negative popular stereotyping we are increasingly up against in Canada,” the cable said.


CBC cancelled The Border earlier this year. The cable cites several other CBC shows as examples of anti-Americanism, including Little Mosque on the Prairie and a miniseries called H20.

Do you not understand - all the true Christians left Britian to go to America. I can say that, being English myself, with the associated bad teeth.

It was only through God's grace that I got to learn about our true Saviour . Britian is a mix of slutty girls, drugs and alcohol. VERY UNCHRISTIAN IN FACT.

And just look at all the atheists the UK produces - Hitchens and Dawkins for a start.

IS that not enough to realize how much God hates the UK, and despite a few Brits learning the truth and the way, our spiritual centre is in Landover.
