To start if you payd 2000$ to an apartment hotel per day and didn't have good service is because you don't know how to choose good places, if you think a burger (high calorie bad for health plastic food) is better than portuguese food... well I don't even know what to say about that!
Then about places to visit... I don't know about USA but in Europe visit churches and museums is called getting a little piece of culture... thing I must say you don't seem to have!!

If you go to google or some other research engine (if you know how to use one!!) and search portuguese you'll find out that it's actually a language that comes from Latin (same as spanish and italian there the similarities) and is actually one of the most spoken languages in the world!

You see, I'm from Europe, Portugal to be more precise, and here in Europe we do have our handful of assholes but you guys are just top notch...

We only hear about you on tv shows and movies - i had actually never seen, or read something written by, someone that belongs to your species.
