Actually is COIMBRA! and it's one of the most famous towns in Portugal as it has a lot of universities.

What you think its a pork penis, will probably be some kind of sausage (is it Alheira ou Chorico?). If you are confusing it with penis, then you should really try to learn a bit more of EVERYTHING!!!!

I've been to Portugal 2 weeks ago. I normally travel there 4/5 times a year for 1 or 2 months each time.

I have studied the bible when i was young. but then i grew up and opened my eyes.my entire family is catholic and goes to church every sunday. i have been thought since a little kid.

So basically you don't know anything about Christian faith? You only know what Catlic cult has told you? I can understand that you opened your eyes if you read even some of the Bible. At least you are not Mary worshiping papist.

instead of all that god stuff your saying, why dont you do the following:
1. go help distribute food for the startving
2. give something to someone who really needs
3. make a montly donation to a church or institute that will actually use to money to end misery.

1. Why would we? Good deeds do not open heaven's door, only believing in Jesus and doing exactly as Bible tells us does. And if starving sinner is a part of the plan of the God, we really should not interfere.

2. We are giving people the word of God. That is something that people really needs. Give people food and they are hungry again next day and in the end they will burn in hell. But give people the hard love of Jesus and their body may die now, but soul live forever next to Jesus.

3. I'm giving more than 10% of my income to the LBC. The money is used to give Pastors freedom to concentrate on sinners.

I'm going to study that particular passage tonight! Funny fact: they only sell Spanish written bibles over here. I was hoping I could find one written in American English, but with no luck... Luckily I went to the interweb and bought a Bible© for my Kindle™!

Does anyone here reads it in Kindle™? Am I allowed by Jesus to read it that way. I'm thinking of having someone write down my favorite passages on a letter and mail it to me, but hen again, I'm not even sure they have mail service here in Portugal!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with reading a proper authorised King James Bible in any form. I myself read from it on the internet or on my phone. God has blessed us with so many ways to carry the bible with us wherever we go. I prayed for just such a thing ever since I found I missed being able to carry round a complete Bible wherever I go and God answered my prayer. Praise and Glory!

The parts I liked best was:

To all of you hating people.
While Jesus certainly hated the muslims (and they hated us) it is not certain that he hated everyone that did not always follow his path, specially if they repented their ways.Jeremiah 26:13 As the good book shows us, it is indeed possible to be forgiven by God if one changes his/her ways. Perhaps the original poster simply wants to express his feelings towards a bad experience. ( 1 Timothy 6:4 ) .
I would ask that you do not judge me by my name, country of birth or even my ability(or lack thereof) to type in the language commonly known as english like in John 8:7 (for one who spells catholic as catlic i would say he has no right to fling the proverbial first stone)
Ironically one might even think that if the OP thought Portugal was such a land of sinners, then he would not have set a foot in it. But he chose too, only he and the good Lord knows why.
Finally and to the ones of little faith about me i am white, caucasian and fair-haired, my family has been in portugal for countless generations (since St Francis Xavier was in spain anyway. I am a certified English teacher and an environmental engineer specialized in dairy effluent treatment. I have humbly applied to a diversity visa for the united states (as well as my bride to be, who is a food engineer) we both hope to work hard for our future there. God willing.
