Exactly what do you think that scripture means? What was Jesus saying? If castration is what it takes to avoid sin, then that's what you have to do.

Or are you going to tell me that the Bible doesn't really mean what it says.

Even the NIV per-version hasn't changed the meaning of that scripture.

And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
