Noah's Ark Discovered = Absolute Proof of God

Assuming this isn't some cheap Chinese knock-off, this discovery is absolute proof of God's existence and here's the reason:

1. The Bible is The Word of God
2. The Bible describes in intimate detail the ark and its construction - it is made of gopher wood.
3. The Ark came to rest on Mount Ararat
4. Bits of some sort of 4,800 year old wood have been found on Mount Ararat
5. Absolutely nothing else could have caused wood to be up Mount Ararat
6. The lay out of the bits of wood indicate that there are some compartments.
7. Compartments irrefutably mean the presence of animals.
8. Therefore the Bible is true and God exists

Evangelists claim to have found Noah's ark - 4000m up mountain

A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers said on Monday they believe they may have found Noah's Ark - 4000m up a mountain in Turkey.

The team say they recovered wooden specimens from a structure on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey that carbon dating proved was 4800 years old, around the same time the ark is said to have been afloat.

"It's not 100 per cent that it is Noah's Ark but we think it is 99.9 per cent that this is it," said Yeung Wing-cheung, a Hong Kong documentary filmmaker and member of the 15-strong team from Noah's Ark Ministries International.

The structure had several compartments, some with wooden beams, which were believed to house animals, he said.

The group of evangelical archaeologists ruled out an established human settlement on the grounds that one had never been found above 3500m in the vicinity, Yeung said.

Local Turkish officials will ask the central government in Ankara to apply for UNESCO World Heritage status so the site can be protected while a major archaeological dig is conducted, Yeung added.

Obviously, my one great regret is that God did not see fit to have an American discover this sign; perhaps He is looking to convert those Slants to the One True Religion.

I wish I was as excited as Brother Bathfire, but as my own Ark Site Study on Mount Ararat was fruitless, I am skeptical of the claims made by these Oriental supposed Scientheists.

The Chinese are know for their trickery and they are inveterate hoaxsters.

Praise Jesus! For the seventh time in the past twenty years, Noah's Ark has been found! This time there is undeniable proof, like the picture below. If you care to read more, the main article is here.

Praise Jesus! Once again, Christian Science has led the way back to find the lost Ark! For all the abuse that Christian Science gets these days (and it is tremendous, let me tell you), results like these just can't be argued with rationally (although leave it to the atheists to argue irrationally).

Now I know I am no Pastor, so I will defer to those with a better understanding of the Word, but is there any possibility that perhaps "Noah's Ark" was actually a fleet of arks? Perhaps it is blasphemous of me to put forth such an idea, in which case I am ready to make a quick apology and retractment (and tithe). With all of the arks that have been found on Mt. Ararat, it seems that perhaps the Facts® may point towards there being tens of arks! As a True Christian™ scientist, never let it be said that I don't let the facts speak for themselves!

Would you believe a former colleague of the team has the gall to lie and claim that they hauled the wood up Ararat themselves?

Says Randall Price of Liberty University:

I was the archaeologist with the Chinese expedition in the summer of 2008 and was given photos of what they now are reporting to be the inside of the Ark. I and my partners invested $100,000 in this expedition (described below) which they have retained, despite their promise and our requests to return it, since it was not used for the expedition. The information given below is my opinion based on what I have seen and heard (from others who claim to have been eyewitnesses or know the exact details).

To make a long story short: this is all reported to be a fake. The photos were reputed to have been taken off site near the Black Sea, but the film footage the Chinese now have was shot on location on Mt. Ararat. In the late summer of 2008 ten Kurdish workers hired by Parasut, the guide used by the Chinese, are said to have planted large wood beams taken from an old structure in the Black Sea area (where the photos were originally taken) at the Mt. Ararat site. In the winter of 2008 a Chinese climber taken by Parasut’s men to the site saw the wood, but couldn’t get inside because of the severe weather conditions. During the summer of 2009 more wood was planted inside a cave at the site. The Chinese team went in the late summer of 2009 (I was there at the time and knew about the hoax) and was shown the cave with the wood and made their film. As I said, I have the photos of the inside of the so-called Ark (that show cobwebs in the corners of rafters – something just not possible in these conditions) and our Kurdish partner in Dogubabyazit (the village at the foot of Mt. Ararat) has all of the facts about the location, the men who planted the wood, and even the truck that transported it.

False arks can't be ruled out Doctor. It would be perfectly with in Satan's game plan to have an anti-ark were Satan persevered the most evil people along with the unclean animals like penguins. Most likely there were arks for the Hindus, the American Indians and Greeks.

That's a good point, brother. This is why I defer to those who are at a higher tithing level than I! I suppose it may have been a part of Satan's plan to hide the ark by putting all these fake arks hanging around just to make it harder to find than a needle in a haystack. Thank you for your guidance! Maybe the fake arks are for that fake story, about Giggle-mesh or whatever?

I saw that straw, too, and it made me wonder, but I wouldn't be so quick, if I were you, to endorse everything that comes out of Liberty University. The days when Chancellor Falwell ran the show are long gone, and the simple fact is, Liberty isn't what it used to be.

I'm thinking all this "hoax" talk is just Satan speaking, and the Turks are wise to seek UNESCO designation for the most important archeological site in their entire country.
