- James Holmes was a shy and well-mannered young man who was heavily involved in his local Presbyterian church, according to his neighbor. Why would a church-going man do such a crazy thing? It doesn't make sense.
- He was easily taken by the police. He didn't resist arrest and even told the police about his booby-trapped apartment. If a man is hell-bent on killing as many people as possible, why would he then warn possible victims in hopes of keeping them safe? That doesn't make sense. It was almost as if his "assignment" finished, he had no more thought in his head and simply, quietly, complied to all instruction.
- He was armed with two handguns, a shotgun and a semi-automatic rifle, while wearing an outfit of black ballistic gear including a helmet, a throat guard, a ballistic vest, ballistic leggings and gloves. In his car police found one rifle, two handguns, a knife, a bullet proof vest, a ballistic helmet, a gas device, a gas mask, military SWAT clothing and unidentified explosives. I ask you, what kind of student can afford all this?
