God-fearing couple persecuted for submitting to God's will to kill their child!!!
You know the feeling, God decides to kill your child. You sing Hosanna and praise him. He clearly had His reasons for not answering prayers and now it's time to get on with having another child. God makes them fairly easily for you if you follow marriage properly.
Perhaps you didn't do things just right and sinned. Perhaps it was someone six generations ago in your ancestors. You accept the tough break and go about your duty and impregnate your wife. The last thing you need is liberal do gooders chipping in and sending you to prison!
Couldn't happen in today's America? Yes it could!
PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia couple – serving 10 years' probation for the 2009 death of their toddler after they turned to prayer instead of a doctor – has violated their probation now that another of their children has died.
Herbert and Catherine Schaible belong to a fundamentalist Christian church that believes in faith-healing
Philadelphia Judge Benjamin Lerner said at a hearing they violated the most important condition of their probation: to seek medical care for their remaining children.
Authorities have yet to file criminal charges in the death of the 8-month-old boy last week, after he suffered with diarrhea and breathing problems for days. But charges could be filed once authorities pinpoint how the baby died.
The couple is on probation after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in 2011 in the death of their 2-year-old son, Kent, from pneumonia.
So not only have this couple been persecuted once, but twice. This is pure victimisation.
Please join with me to pray for the right verdict to enter the stone cold heart of the secular Liberal Judges and sway the Jury to decide rightly. This couple has followed their Lord and Saviour. They are guilty of nothing more than faith. And for this they should be executed or something?
It's a disgrace. Please write to your Republican governor and ask him why he isn't in the Oval Office right now demanding that they be pardoned.
