Removal of bike lanes from Freehold mean that police have had to change the way they identify sex offenders.

On the plus side, it has drastically reduced the amount of whining we must hear from liberals who get struck by large, Godly vehicles.

Sidewalks? Well these just encourage the bums and Mexicans. For all it's liberal leanings, California at least recognizes the need for numerous car lanes - I can't count them all on some streets - and no sidewalks. Let the "bi"-cyclists and the "pedo"-strians take their chances in the center lane. God help them (if he wants to, that is).

Little Donkey--There are cities with too many sidewalks. What happens is that homeless people think the sidewalks are there for them to live and sleep on. It there are no sidewalks, these same people find a job and an apartment or house.

We have "other ways" (read Officer Richards) of keeping the homeless from sleeping on our Freehold sidewalks. In general, cities should not have sidewalks.

            Re: Designated Bicycle Lanes Removed

I see no mention of sidewalks in the Good Book©, I do see many references to "roads." Such as:

            1 Samuel 27:10

            1. And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.

Therefore, it is clear that building roads is Godly.

Besides, I hate shoveling sidewalks in the winter. To say nothing of picking up the occasional dog poop I find on them.

I applaud the Mayor for taking this bold move and nipping this hippie tree hugger trend in the bud. If this trend were to continue Freehold will look like some kind of third world chink city and our oil based economy would collapse.

Brother William--When I saw this picture, I must admit to tearing up a little.

I feel SO sorry for these people. They define the term "poverty".

I do not want to see ever, the citizens of Freehold be forced by dire economic circumstances to ride bicycles to work, church and shopping.
