Extradition of Abu Hamza and four others for terrorism offences can go ahead, European court rules
Human rights judges have this morning ruled the Government can lawfully extradite radical preacher Abu Hamza to America to face terrorist charges.
Human rights judges have this morning ruled the Government can lawfully extradite radical preacher Abu Hamza to America to face terrorist charges.
The judges gave a final ruling on six extradition cases in a verdict which effectively passed judgment on whether America's treatment of terrorist suspects amounts to "inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment" in breach of the European human rights code.
They decided it would be lawful for five of the six to be jailed for the rest of their lives in a so-called 'super-max' prison.

Egyptian-born Abu Hamza was granted British citizenship in 1986. He is wanted in America on 11 charges related to taking 16 hostages in Yemen in 1998, promoting violent jihad in Afghanistan in 2001 and conspiring to set up a jihad training camp in Oregon, America.
The American authorities have described him as a "terrorist facilitator with a global reach".

All six have been indicted on various charges of alleged terrorism in America. They argued that, if extradited and convicted in America, their conditions of detention if held at one of the country's so-called "supermax" prisons would amount to ill-treatment under Article 3 of the Human Rights code.
In July 2010 the human rights judges said they needed more time to consider whether the Eighth Amendment to the US Constitution - a ban on "cruel and unusual punishment" - gives the equivalent protection to Article 3 of the European code which states: "No-one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment".

Let us pray... what they deserve.
Now we have the thorny question of whether towelheads kept under safe and humane lock and key at great expense at Guantanamo Bay are actually treated with kindness sorted out once and for all, perhaps we can get back to praising Jesus.
Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Now let us move on and follow God's advice. We have been listening to wholly fabricated and out of touch secular moral compasses for too long - God needs to be back in control!Deuteronomy 12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Let's not ponder on why they did what they did. Just destroy them and their heathen friends and shun them. It's time to not stop there. God says clearly that we need to remove them and all trace of them.
Exodus 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
2nd John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

It's as true today as it was then.2nd John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
