  • The Freedom From Religion Foundation is persecuting Christians again

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (official website: CAUTION: IF YOU CLICK YOU RISK ETERNAL DAMNATION) is a malicious organization which main goal is to destroy Christianity. The only reason why ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, etc. are not listing it as a hate extremist propaganda organization is because these people are anti-Christian, too.

Anyway. Here is the most recent example of their hateful persecution of Christians. Do you know the story of that white lady cop who shot a black man, who was armed with a spoon and a bowl of ice-cream, in his own apartment? Well, the verdict is in, and the poor girl has been convicted of murder (a clear sign that the jury was bought by the persecution team).

There was a very nice moment after the sentencing:

After stepping off the bench to comfort the Jean family, the judge walked over to Guyger, still at the defense table. She bent low and spoke in the young woman’s ear. “You understand?” the judge said, barely audible. The judge appeared to be overcome in the moment, and left the courtroom. She returned a moment later, a small Bible in her hand.
“You can have mine,” the judge said to Guyger. “I have three or four at home.”

She then began to counsel Guyger. The pair were talking low, barely audible, just the two of them. “This is your job,” the judge said, opening the book.
The judge mentioned John 3:16, saying this will strengthen her. Guyger nodded her head.
“You just need a tiny mustard seed of faith,” the judge said. “You start with this.”
Guyger embraced the judge, who hugged her back. Guyger whispered something.
“Ma’am,” the judge said warmly. “It’s not because I’m good. It’s because I believe in Christ.”
“You haven’t done so much that you can’t be forgiven,” the judge told her. “You did something bad in one moment in time. What you do now matters.”
The judge told Guyger that she could take the Bible with her as deputies prepared to escort her to the prisoner holding cell connected to the courtroom.

This is an excellent example how law should be done. The defendant in this case is a nice white lady, who needed comforting and preaching after receiving a prison sentence. At this moment she was in distress, and everyone who ever worked as a missionary knows that people are easier to convert when they are in a vulnerable state. And the hug - if this were a black male being sentenced for killing someone, would the judge even think of hugging him? Of course not. A young, petite white lady in distress is, by definition, a very huggable human being. A black man is not. Period.

Anyway. The Christ-haters at Freedom From Religion Foundation of course had to find some laughable offense in what happened:

Amber Guyger's trial sparked protests over policing, but what happened after is now raising complaints over the US Constitution's separation of church and state.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a complaint Thursday against Judge Tammy Kemp for giving the woman convicted of killing her neighbor a Bible while in the courtroom. The foundation said Kemp's "proselytizing actions overstepped judicial authority" and has asked the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct to investigate....
While it is acceptable for Kemp to express her faith as a private citizen, the complaint argues, she was representing the US government at the time.
"We, too, believe our criminal justice system needs more compassion from judges and prosecutors. But here, compassion crossed the line into coercion. And there can be few relationships more coercive than a sentencing judge in a criminal trial and a citizen accused and convicted of a crime," the complaint said.
Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. Can you even try to understand that logic? I sure can't.
God created fossils to test our faith.

Thank you, Sister Bass, for bring this to the attention to readers around the world. Here is a judge introducing the love of Jesus to someone who needs it and the FFRF has to butt in and complain.

If every judge prayed over defendants and gave them a Bible as a gift all crime would soon end.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I would say that would be almost true. What we need is more Christian judges and Christian lawmakers so that we have complete authority on what is and what is not considered a crime.

I went to that site (FFRF) and noticed that it was all about striking down "Ten Commandments", "Bibles", "Christian" and "church and state" separation. No mention of "mosque and state", "Korans", and "allah" - anywhere.

Persecution of Christians only - makes you suspicious doesn't it? How about some of those mohammhead cartoons? Maybe they are afraid of being beheaded? Maybe they are funded by CAIR and George Soros.

Let's get our priorities straight here - all the trouble in the world right now is caused by mooselimbs. All Christians want to do is have the Baby Jesus in the town square at Christmas - not bring Sharia Law to the country like the "religion of peace".
        Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
        ...and get off my lawn

Re: The Freedom From Religion Foundation is persecuting Christians again

Brother Bryan mentions a very important thing about groups like the issalamical folk who are daily trying to institute Sharita Law into our Godly Trump Democracy. You don’t see the followers of Christ going around trying to force religion into anything. I mean, sure, we want to honor Jesus Christ and we want Him glorified in our streets alleys highways and byways, but how is that doing anything legal like the mooselimbs are seeking to do?

This FFRF thing is an insipidious bunch of people who don’t even worship on Sundays and support removing your right to shout praise to the King of Kings in your own closet. They want normal decorations like the Ten Commandments removed from the Town Square of your Christian communities.

I was fooled into giving them my email address years ago when I accidentally visited their website when I was looking for something else. They started sending me information about causes they support all across our nation and may God forgive but I accidentally donated $1000 to them when what I thought I was doing was helping fund the return of the words “under God” to the pledge of lesions.

Bottom line: Jesus is soon coming to claim His bride and that old serpent is trying his best to prevent people from finding the Lord in time to be saved. Don’t sit idly by. Get out there and spread the news about the redemption available to all who believe. Even if people don’t want to hear it. Hell won’t be convenient and if it’s inconvenient for some people to hear about the Lord, well so be it.

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
          Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
          Amen and Amen

Amen, Mr. Mayor! All crimes are committed by people lacking moral compass. Not a single crime has been ever committed by a follower of True Christianity™. I know that for a fact, because all trials in Freehold are against defendants suspected of not being True Christians™, and in 100% of cases where the defendants lose, that suspicion has been proven beyond reasonable doubt.

Amen, Brother! I mean, it would be OK to bring the Old Testament laws into secular courts, but the Old Testament Law is nothing like the Sharia. For starters, it was dictated by the Only True God, rather than by some illiterate camel herder who clearly was suffering from demon possession (a.k.a. schizophrenia)!
