Whatever happened to "we are all gods' children." Whether or not someone has a religion or not should not change anyone's opinion. Although I am a PROUD and STRAIGHT atheist, there is no proof that there is a god and no proof that there is not. Don't anyone dare mention the bible... The bible is a mix of folklore's and fairy tales told down from generation to generation. May I reference to the "Telephone" game? The bible has many different authors which all have different views on this topic. Atheism has one view on religion, to believe in the non-existent of a deity. God is a silly excuse in order to get out of your everyday problems and consequences.

Is That really what Jesus Wants? Is for us to treat our own species as some animal, or something un-humane? Im a christian, but i respect the opinion of a atheist. If a atheist truely doesn't belive in god, then thats when god takes over and they will realize God is real on judgement day. Some might ask for forgiveness, some might not. See Christ wanted us to have a open mind, not like animals were their minds are chipped, and programmed to do everything. If god didnt want us to have a opinion, he wouldint make us that way. The fact that you think that iterative translation of God's Word amounts to some sort of game of "Chinese telephone" only goes to show the distance that you place between yourself and your Creator. If anything, God's Word was improved upon translation into the King James Authorized Version ©1611.

As is fairly apparent from my name, I am an atheist, although I am aware that I have spelled it wrong, I do not feel compelled to go back through the process of making an account and registering it. I have a few questions concerning why you think all of the atheists should be put into ghettos, put in a hole, or registered like sex offenders. I don't understand this because putting someone in a ghetto and forcing them to be separated from society is an almost nazi level amount of hatred. All I want to know is where all this hatred stems from. I will make a logical jump here and, taking into account your very obvious fanaticism about the bible, say that you all take the bible at a very literal level. So I also have a few questions concerning the darker and much more depraved parts of the bible and if you follow all the teachings of your lord as he sees that you should.

1. Deuteronomy 22:28-29
28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

The question here is do you believe that if a man rapes a woman that he now has the right to marry her, and that all women should be thusly treated as property and therefore have their rights revoked? This is what the bible says so I'm just going off of that.

2. Romans 12
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited.

If the bible says to "bless and do not curse" those who persecute you, why do you all persist in persecuting atheists. This goes directly against the word of the bible. Even further, these words go against other sections you have sited as evidence to hate atheists.

3. "Women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array." -- 1 Timothy 2:9

"Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together." -- Deuteronomy 22:11

Now I assume that those of you that have wives have given them a ring with a diamond on it, or even less, just a gold or silver ring. This also goes against the word of your lord. Moreover, I assume you are not all wearing pure wool or pure linnen shirts as Jesus would so much have liked you to. So why do you again go against the word of your lord?


All I wish to point out is that your hatred is self condemning and that your literal take on the bible is hypocritical. To say that atheists should be put in ghettos just seems insane to me, and I do not understand why you all seem to be in a competition to be the next Hitler.

Nobody wants to force you into ghettos. You are always welcome to accept Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior. It's only through your own stubbornness and refusal to face the facts that you would ever find yourself put on a list or herded into a ghetto.

The short answer is yes. A woman must marry her rapist. It's not like the rapist get off scott-free though. He has to support the woman and pay her father somewhere in the ballpark of $300.

Why would you presume that we violate these verses? My wife makes her own dresses, and I have my wardrobe carefully coordinated so that I am only wearing one type of fabric at any one time. Just because you're accustomed to cherry-picking false "Christians" who don't hold fast to every precious Word of the Scriptures doesn't mean we're all like that. Believe it or not, some of us actually take our faith seriously.
