Maybe you should make them call you by a different title? Such as ruler, sovereign, captain, commander, monarch or liege.

This sounds more that you make up things to get accepted?

Have in mind, even that that Master is not a title, but a sign of respect !!

          Regarding Ruler:
the Bible clearly say to fight against theese
          Ephesians 6:12

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Sovereignty is God's absolute and exclusive right to exercise authority in the universe, therefore you cant be called sovereign,

          1 Chronicles 29:11-12

11 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all
          .

Captain is a military title, and wouldent fit in a civilian home

And the same goes for Comander

To become a Monarch you need a kingdom, however there is only one kingdom, and this is kind of taken:

          Luke 1:33

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

And why would he liked to be called a "Frensh city" ?

Re: My kids refuse to call me master

Praise Jesus, I have finally made my kids to start calling me Master again. It required lots of discipline thought. I hit my kids with a rod on buttocks, back and soles, and I slapped their face and ears. I explained to them that disobeying kids are sinners in the eyes of God, and will be left behind to suffer Tribulation after the Rapture. The demagogue had to sleep outside. My wife always act a good example, and call me Master. As a real woman, she hit the kids when I was at work.

The discipline resulted in clearly visible bruises, reminding them the consequence of rebellion.

                Luke 16:20-26

20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
                22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

A panhard rod, that's an excellent idea. Reminds me of a few years ago when I was harassed by Asphalt Jungle Indians, a left-wing hooligan group that emptied the air in my tires, because the hate SUV drivers. I caught a 30-year old girl (she was not a real woman at all), 5' tall and 90 lbs, she was thin because she did not eat meat or drinking milk. I worked on her back with my spider-type lug wrench.

a lug wrench is …an L-shaped metal rod (apparently it's also called a wheel brace).

A pipe wrench on the other hand: a tool having two toothed jaws, one fixed and the other free to grip pipes and other tubular objects when the tool is turned in one direction only. was unlikely to comply with God's commandment - subject to Pastoral approval - my friend suggested.

Actually, she was not at home yesterday - but her husband was there with another "gentleman" (I am being polite) doing something with their motorbikes, so they had their tools out and were able to show me the difference, which I appreciated. I hope that is helpful.

In my opinion you should hit him round the face until he begins to bleed before kicking him in the ribs. Always worked for me. You could also read him the bible after so he knows what he did was wrong!!

The concern was for what the child had NOT done. You have not quoted any scripture to endorse your somewhat unusual view.
This forum is about recognising God for His tendermercy Psalm 119:156 patricularly regarding the loving discipline of children: it is not about assault.

How do you expect your children do respect you if you hit them and force them to call you master?

Seriously, they're not slaves to do your bidding. They are people. Living, breathing feeling. And if you do half of the things the people on this thread are saying you should, than you don't deserve to even see your kids.
