Last night I was playing cards (not for money, but for souls) with the Church Elders and Pastor Ezekiel. Well, as a few too many Glenfiddich, I heard that our very own Senior Pastor is going to pop the question to Daisy Mae! He was droning on and on about how she is a fine woman, most of the Platinum women were, God fearing and pure. His concern (what a thoughtful man) was if he brings a lady to his humble estate, what would he do with all the house boys? He can't just toss them into the street like a used flat screen TV box. Too expensive to pack them up and ship back to what ever hellhole he drug them from.
Anyhow, this is a big secret so do not tell anyone.

obviously Napoleonic tinctures would be off the menu, contaminated by papism and idols. I've never seen an idol in Scotland. Daisy will be so excited. This is not a suggestion but a question: perhaps she would like to redeploy the personnel you mentioned? It would be something (albeit slight) for her to take on now that she'd have so little of the day-to-day concerns on her mind. My prayers are with Pastor in this and as always He will make the right decision.

Wonderful news about the impending nuptials, Brother James. And so compassionate of Zeke to be thinking of his houseboys at the same time. Far be of it of me to make any suggestions, but if I could, I wonder if Brother Larry could move 2 or 3 of the houseboys into his New York apartment. It's something which might be right up his alley.

That's very interesting, Brother Hutchins. Oddly, many of the Ladies of Landover thought that Pastor Zeke had "popped the question" some years ago. It's certainly the impression Sister Daisy Mae gave us. In fact, I thought she had been his FTF (full-time-fiancée) for 10 or even 15 years. It just goes to show how little we women know of these matters!

Well, being our beloved Pastor is rapidly approaching 30 years old, it is time for him to produce progeny. I know he'd rather spread himself for all of God's children.Daisy is not a child any longer as well.
I know Pastor Flint made the Purity Promise™ to Miss Daisy Mae, forsaking all other females many, many many years ago. Multiple times, the two had a date set but world events forced Ezekiel to have to postpone his own happiness over the needs of his flock and the world.

You know darned well I fell asleep and had to be carried out to my Bentley last night as I'd eaten something that did not agree with me. I spend the morning preaching via the FTN (Flint Television Network) because so many small minded parishioners are afraid to exit their home due to the threat of the Kung Flu.
So I do a 'meet and greet' via chat and what do I see? Congratulations! Me, getting congratulated? Not Jesus, but me! You know how I hate to be singled out. I was going to announce my personal plans (if any) when I deemed the time was right. God did not let His flock announce when He was going to cover the Earth with Water, turn loose Locusts or release a Plague. Some things are private.

Well, I just arrived and I am sitting in one of the outer anterooms. One of those gook house boys took my duster and boots and gave me a bathrobe and disposable slippers to put on. I really hate them taking down to me "you sit, you stay, you quiet, you wait'. If LBJ had not interfered, I'd of blasted every single slant straight back to Hell in Nam. I brought a token gift, a Oyster Perpetual.

Though it is odd all the doors are stuck and no one comes when I knock. That dome thing on the gold leafed ceiling with the blinking red light is weird too. It is a bit chilly, sitting on the wood bench having had my clothes taken and being left just wearing the robe in the tiled, bare room. I do not think there is any heat and it is drafty.

Yes, that can be irritating. It's as though they're talking to a dog. I suppose they learn it from the way Pastor talks to them and don't understand that it's not appropriate?

Thank you for your kind words. I know these people have a limited ability top communicate, spending most of their lives grunting and barking like dogs. I have often wondered how they can tell the difference between friend, foe or dinner.


Anyhow, I am still here. I am a bit thirsty and uncomfortable. I am shivering a bit but that seems to be slowing some as the desire for sleep gets stronger. I seem to of dozed off a few times and each time, miraculously as I did, one of these little gooks screamed at me (I have no idea where they manifested from or how, just as I started to slump over) saying "you no time to sleep, you to wait alive'. When I asked how much longer all I heard was 'ehh, no for you..."
I know everything is for good reason. I am unable to plug in my JesPhone in as there are no outlets here. The sunlight under the crack of the door is going and there are no lights on in the room.
It is times like this that a man reflects on things. Though to be honest, my mind seems to be drifting....

No one came in to see me since my last posting. It rained last night and water came in the room. I soaked it up with my socks then squeezed them out in to my mouth to drink it. I knock on the doors and no one comes. I know God will hear me. I can hear the wind howling.

No, I do not want to cause a fuss. I thought I heard some voices and foot steps a little while ago. I am sure the Pastor will summon me soon. I really have to go to the bathroom. I should of gone before I arrived. It is funny how a day drags on for what seems like forever when you are just sitting. Probably the longest Monday of my life.

It's great that you feel Jesus, Brother. A cynic would say you're suffering from sensory deprivation, but we know it was all planned this way by Pastor Zeke, so that you could meet Jesus sooner than any of us have expected.

On a completely unrelated note, you did give 100% of your assets to the church in your will, right? This is no time for cheating Jesus, you know.

Poor Pastor Ezekiel. Marriage, especially the part where one has to make children, is almost insufferable. Only the promise of eternal salvation makes it bearable. I am certain Pastor Ezekiel will make Jesus proud! I don't intend to bring a gift to the wedding though, my gift will go straight to Jesus.

I agree Pastor Zeke really needs to think this through. There are those who think he will be obligated to pay attention to a wife and later change diapers. We at the Church expect him to be traveling the world and coming back Sundays for his famous spell-binding sermons.
