  • No broken bones means no torture occurred: True Christian™ parents' defense

True Christians™ parents face terrible persecution in this country. We are still sore from the great injustice done to Mr. and Mrs. David Turpin in California a few months ago.

    And now - this:

Ten children have been removed from a home in Fairfield, Calif., where police say they were tortured, burned, beaten and even shot with a pellet gun while living amid squalor and abuse of all kinds.
Of course the charges are phony - these nice folks are a shining example of True Christian™ parenthood:

Rogers, out on bail while her husband appeared in court on 15 felony charges Monday, gave reporters an open-house tour of what she insisted was a loving if unconventional home.
“My husband is an amazing person,” she said. “I am an amazing mother.”
All this started because the oldest boy (12 yr old) had a temper tantrum and disappeared. Concerned mother called the police, and that gave the police the pretext to enter the premises.

Urine, human and animal feces, garbage and rotten food littered the floor, police said, and heaps of debris blocked off parts of the house.
Pictures obtained by ABC affiliate KGO show furniture, trash, toys and miscellany scattered at every angle, as if a storm had torn through the home. A bathroom was covered from wall-to-wall in animal droppings.
By way of explanation, Rogers told police that she had torn the house apart looking for the 12-year-old, the AP reported. When she was later asked why all 10 children slept in a single room while the other bedrooms were used as the parents’ quarters, a “meditation room” and a playroom, Rogers replied that the children liked it that way.
    ...
The children had been home-schooled and were seen outside so rarely that some neighbors were shocked to learn more than a few lived at the house.
Some of the children, police said, described incidents of intentional abuse dating to 2014 — puncture wounds, burns, bruising and injuries consistent with being shot with an airsoft or BB gun.
The mother knows it's all baloney:

“My kids get bumped and bruised and scratched because they’re kids, but that’s it,” she told reporters in front of her house, according to the AP. “There’s no broken bones, there is no major scars, nothing.”
She led reporters through the house, which the AP reported still looked squalid behind the cream-colored, hedge-lined exterior: animal droppings littered the bathroom, and scuff marks still covered some walls.
Rogers said she felt unfairly judged for her lifestyle. She first got pregnant when she was 16, she said, and had been with Rogers for the last 10 years, and they both wanted a large family.
    ...
Allen’s mother, Peggy Allen, told the AP she had spoken to her son about the importance of housekeeping and Christian values...
“My husband has a lot of tattoos. He looks like a scary individual, and that’s why people are so quick to judge him,” Rogers told reporters.
Well, their Bible seems to be missing Leviticus 19:28, but aside from that, this is a very Godly family, where parents clearly beat the fear of God into their children:

Proverbs 20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.

Let us pray for these unjustly persecuted True Christian™ parents!...
God created fossils to test our faith.

Re: No broken bones means no torture occurred: a True Christian™ parents defense

It is always sad when the efforts of parents to provide their children with a chance to get into Heaven is not appreciated. There are some things we need to ask:
    • Did those children learn to hate their mother? Almost certainly.
    • Did those children hate their father? Undoubtedly!
    • Did they eventually hate their own lives because of those admittedly something-left-to-be-desired circumstances? Of course they did.

Just as Jesus wanted it to be!

    Luke 14:26
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

The children were gaining a pass into Heaven and now this grandiose opportunity has been wasted. Jesus weeps for these lost souls.

      Comrade,

We should not bring up our children to be fearful and unhappy. We should teach them to be fulfilled and happy with their lives. It's an added bonus if they turn out to be homosexuals.

        Dear Sinner,

You made a claim, an assertion. Please provide some actual evidence for the veracity of your claim, as follows:
        • Provide proof with citations that Jesus erred when He said the quotation that I cited in the verse above (about hating your own life).
        • Provide proof that it is better to have a comfortable love-filled life here on earth (70+ years) compared to an Eternity of Bliss. Is the prize of being miserable now too high to pay?
        • In which way would being a homosexual help people in the afterlife? Again, provide citations of peer-reviewed studies in case you fail to provide Biblical proof. In that case, explain why the secular proof should replace God's Word.
You may not like our evidence that is the Bible. However, even you should be able to concur that it is evidence. You, on the other hand, provided only an assertion. Without any other justification it is quite unlikely that those who do not agree with you to begin with would take your claims seriously. Please, try to provide at least some challenge to us. Our evidence is our Faith!

        Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

        Yours in Christ,

Don't be silly! Raising a child to hate and yet at the same time honor his mother and father may confuse and even traumatize a secular child, but one who has let Jesus into his heart will have peace (John 14:27)!

          Glory!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
