  • The Cure for the Budget Crisis: Stop Educating Girls

    We've all wondered the same thing: How much money could this country save if girls weren't allowed to go to school?

    Imagine the money we spend every year to educate millions of girls, who squander their opportunities at every turn and don't understand most of what they're being taught anyway!

    Then think of what it costs for public schools to feed those girls school lunches, and haul them back and fourth to school on buses, and what it costs to make their sinful cheerleader outfits.

    This nation could save billions of dollars every year if girls weren't allowed to go to school.

    I guess the Bible really does know what it's talking about when it tells us that women should be educated at home by their husbands while caring for their babies.

      Rebel--You are just not looking at the from a policy perspective.

      First, we need to arrive at our overall goal--what do we want to accomplish? Here, it is reducing the money spent on education.

      We can't just focus on what is good for one special interest group, we have to look at the whole society. If we eliminate education for girls, we would meet our budgets while keeping the average wage where it is. Men would be paid more and women less, but we would have solved the budget problem without harming the overall economy.

      It is a win, win.

        In fact, women shouldn't be allowed to leave the house.

          What justifies you TheRebel to argue with what that fine Christian American Founding Father Thomas Jefferson (also a native Virginian like myself) would have wanted? Were you the 3rd President of the United States? Did you write the Declaration of Independence? NO! For all we know you are a dirty commie who wants to subvert the United States Government!

            No dear, girls have every right to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Not only will they not get the Holy Gospel in school (unless they're in so-called Christian schools, but if they were so Christian, why would they be educating gals outside the home? hmmm? think about it), but they will be surrounded by Darwinists and other crazy religionists. They'll be duped into thinking they will be happy pursuing some career or some far-fetched notion like that, rather than studying the Holy Bible and learning what God's Will is for them (hint, read 1 Timothy 2:15).

              No it isn't. Women are equal to men. I would like you to gave me evidence besides the bible that women are inferior to men. For every negative point you give about a women I can tell you something bad a man did.

                  What we really need is to spend more on egucation for both girls and guys, and spend less on stupid things like uss;ess wars now i am not against war but we just like looking for people to fight as a country, but anyway egucation needs to start earler with them actually teaching the studints that is why the learning curv is so low, because the teachers do not care

                    the founding fathers were not as christian as you think Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Washenton were known freemasions and Franklin was a member of the Hell Fire club, as for John Adams i do not know if he was a masion but he was a Unitarian and i rember on one of you earler trends that they are not true christians, so that just about dissaproves what you said

                              The only problem with this is this " interest group" makes up half the worlds population
