Atheist scum often tries to seduce us into
anal sex and also find so-called "contradictions" in the
Bible. In their absence, they attempt to refer to "science" (1 Timothy 6:20) by pointing out verses that are somehow "erroneous". This is intolerable, as the Bible tells us that it is inerrant (John 10:35). One of these conundrums is the case of the
mustard seed. As usual, the
Bible provides us with
accurate information about the size of these seeds:
Mark 4:31-32
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
We have here
two important pieces of information.
- The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds.
- The mustard plant is the largest of all herbs, that is, plants that do not appear as wood.
Glory.
However, atheists often claim that by simple observation and measurement, we could determine that there are actually
smaller seeds than the mustard seed. they refer to orchids,
etc. In addition, they say that, for instance, the
banana plant that is a herb, is significantly larger than the mustard plant. Let us do some
visual comparison. Here on the bottom row,
poppy seeds on the left and mustard on the
right:
By looking at the picture, the temptation to
agree with atheist scum is great, the diameter of poppy seeds seems indeed
smaller than that of the mustard. Now, let us look at the plants:
On the right hand side, the banana plant,
apparently larger than the
mustard herbs on the left. Oh dear, this seems
bad! What if...
Jesus erred? What if He
lied or was
wrong about botany? How can we trust Him when it comes to
Salvation®?!
False cotton candy Christians, such as Catholics, have tried to solve this problem by tapdancing with Biblical vocabulary. They claim that perhaps
Jesus referred to plants that grow in the Old World, as orchids are American. However, poppy and banana are both present in Asia and, furthermore, in the absence of the
proper American language, Jesus temporarily used the language of Ancient Grease to communicate. Let us look at the verse in that
ugly vernacular:
Mark 4:31
ὡς κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃς ὅταν σπαρῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, μικρότερον ὂν πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς
Jesus used the word
γῆ, of which the genitive is
γῆς. If He had wished to refer to the "local land" or "country", He could have used the word
χώρα. Thus, there is
no escape for the false Christians. They are looking at this problem in a totally skewed manner. In Spiritual True Christian™ reality, we must acknowledge that, indeed, if we just
observe our environment, there are seeds much smaller than the mustard seed, plants much bigger than the mustard plant. It is very easy to see this, it requires no special skills to compare poppy seeds to mustard and see the obvious. Why would Jesus
teach us about something that we can
clearly see with our own eyes? It would be
useless. Instead, He taught us about the things unseen.
2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
If se use our senses, we can
easily see that an elephant is bigger than a shrew and a rattlesnake longer than an ant. We need
Jesus to tell us that it is not necessarily so! Only a
True Genius™ dares tell us that mustard seeds are smaller, as it is something that requires healthy and acute spiritual senses to understand. As the
Bible is always True™ (Psalms 12:6), we can know with
certainty that mustard seeds are the smallest, insects have 4 legs (Leviticus 11:20-23) and
rabbits are ruminants (Deuteronomy 14:7). By simply observing the world, doing experiments, gathering data and studying the living things, we would be forced to accept that ants have 6 legs and rabbits do not ruminate.
We need Jesus to tell us that it isn't so. The are Truths™ that are not seen. They prove that atheist naturalist are wrong and the Bible is always right.
Glory!
This is an ant. You can see six legs.
Jesus tells us that there are four! Who do you trust?
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
