  • Trump's Choice for the Senate, Herschel Walker, Paid for an Abortion

I don't know why the liberal press gets so interested in the sins of Republicans before they found Jesus. Former football great, Herschel Walker, is running for the U. S. Senate in Georgia with Trump's blessing.

Herschel is a True Christian™. When he was a football star women were crazy for him. He had some children out of wedlock and one vicious harlot now claims he paid for an abortion. She has the receipt for his check and get-well card from him. All of this was before he found Jesus. Now, he always said he was a Christian but the real conversion took place more recently.

Herschel is very clear about abortion: No abortions, period. It is logical that today he is against all abortions even if this was not always the case. He says he never paid for an abortion and the women is not truthful.

With Trump on his side, this little issue will go away:

No offense to President Trump's friend, but I wouldn't want to give birth to his baby either. Just saying.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Give the man a break! Even if the woman is telling the partial truth (a frankly vanishingly unlikely situation), all this tells us is that before he found Jesus, he had the kindness and decency to pay her medical expenses. Who knows what she claimed they were for?

It's not a crime. It should be a crime, that I think is the point Mr. Hershey is making.

I can understand your view on this, Sister Mary. Maybe my own views about Herschel are influenced by being a politician myself. I feel I need to cut Herschel some slack because he is an anti-abortion Christian. I know some will say fathering illegitimate children with other women while married is not the Christian ideal.

We have to keep in mind that, with the exception of Landover Baptist, Christian numbers across the U.S. are falling. Some Christians with questionable pasts like Donald Trump and Herschel Walker are needed. I might whisper also, they are both rich.

Re: Trump's Choice for the Senate, Herschel Walker, Paid for an Abortion

I don't get it. Didn't the prophets have concubines? The patriarchs? Levites, the very priestly caste itself, in regular communication with God? Abraham had a couple (Keturah and Hagar) (as well as Sarah, to whom he was married) and although his wife was a bit iffy on the subject, God sent an angel to tell Hagar it was all good; I don't know if the rest were seeing angels too but clearly the arrangement did not offend God.

There may be things so-called "normal" people find OK but which offend God but He is clear: Christians are not normies.

Titus 2:12b-14c We should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people

Before I was made peculiar, by God's grace for which I thank Him every day, some things that didn't bother me were nevertheless offensive to God. For example we could all get dressed up and parade ourselves around where we'd have walking sticks shaken at us: “I didn't fight in two world wars so you could walk around disgracing yourselves, look at the state of you! Call that a [INSERT NAME OF GARMENT HERE]? I wouldn't [INSERT NAME OF INAPPROPRIATE ACTIVITY] with that if I was [DESCRIBE MEDICAL CONDITION HERE] and convulsing on the floor!!” Which from the look of him was likely to happen any minute. The actual fabric and general style needn't be described for any Christian to understand that our conduct was offensive to God and there must be people like that, normal people, people who don't know about God or Abraham or The Levites or the promises made to them which they rejected and went off whoring after idols which usually involves temple orgies and extreme forms of intoxication. None of which are condemned in the postmodern world of multiculturalism and social diversity.

Ezekiel 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go.a.whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

In both cases, specific activities are used to demonstrate how rotten we were and how in all areas of life we are made peculiar in Christ. Rottenness however thoroughly permeates every unregenerated soul CAUSING rather than RESULTING from the individual actions lumped together as whorishness, idolatry, abomination and iniquity. The only surprise among normals would be if they WERE NOT disgracing themselves as we were as normal people ourselves, fancy dress parades notwithstanding. We would have been disgracing ourselves if we'd stayed home sitting in chairs and donated the sewing machine to charity. Even asleep we'd be a disgrace (we were often told this) and revolting to God.

Christians are not naturally peculiar. It's something God needs to do for us that we could never do for ourselves. It is grossly unjust to remind a struggling, perhaps newly made, Christian of the antics of yesteryear – even if it was only last week. Because let's face it, right up to the nanosecond of Conversion, revolting was as good as it got.

            Thank you Jesus

            Thank you Lord

Like Brother Johny Joe said, this was before Mr. Walker became a Christian. Thus, this sin was washed away in the blood of the lamb and he stands before the Lord blameless and pure as the driven snow. He could've killed a baby himself with his own hands pre-conversion and he'd still be getting into Heaven.

Besides, even if this was true, you just know he'd be a staunch anti-abortion voter in the Senate.

Georgians! This is your chance to atone for 2020! Vote for this man in the midterm!
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
              Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Re: Trump's Choice for the Senate, Herschel Walker, Paid for an Abortion

Earlier today, it looked like a great day for the Herschel Walker campaign. Herschal announced that his mother had told him her mother, Herschel's grandmother, was a full-blooded Cherokee.

This was good news because there are lots of Cherokee descendants and the other Indian people will like it too. Add to that the thousands of white liberals who faun over anything Indian.

There was a small set back later in the day when Herschel's mother said she never told him this and that her mother, Herschel's grandmother, was not a Cherokee.

Honestly, why would Herschel's mother cancel all those good political points Herschel gained by announcing this? Doesn't she want her own son to be the next U.S. Senator from Georgia? It makes me think she was paid off the Democrats.

She's a smart lady. Similar sentiment from Mitch McConnel: “I don’t have a litmus test,” McConnell said when asked if he wants a party more in line with Trump or with Cheney. “I’m for people that get the Republican nomination, and for winning, because if we win we get to decide what the agenda is, and they don’t.

First you get the win, then you do your agenda and the voters can go fly a kite if they don't like it. You won, so you decide.

Exactly. We know that Jesus wants us to control the Senate so we can write laws that reflect Christian values. As one person put it:

I was starting to get confused, having heard criticisms such as
Isn't the idea to explain your agenda and the one whose agenda gets the most votes then implements what they'd set out? Like a farmers market where the farmer with the most acceptable produce set out on the stall gets the most sales? And nobody buys anything from the stall offering sealed crates you can't see inside of before buying?
then I "got it" that anyone asking that is rudderless in a sea of discontent and loathing. Christians understand what the platform is: all that's necessary is to read The Bible. God has explained His agenda and although for now elections take place in a secular world, His promise is for 100% implementation of every item set out on HIS stall; we can be ready and welcoming or wretched and complaining.

McConnell (and God) know what happens to the moaning minnies, traitors who have their own agenda which they'd bring in by any means available – an outcome deserved from the time of Eve (the first sinner) to the present day. Whether voted in or imposed directly however, there's only one agenda that matters open for all to see. It's right there in The Bible.
                            Hallelujah!
