  • Four reasons God will NOT damn Pro-Life Rep. Tim Murphy for urging whore to have abortion

Friends, I'm sure many of you have questions about the revelation that our brother in Christ, Representative Tim Murphy (R-Pennsylvania), urged his mistress to have an abortion.

Some of you have asked me, how can a man who has been such a good friend to this church, and to the pro-life movement, have done such a thing?

And, more importantly, you have expressed concerns about the fate of brother Tim's aeternal soul.

I have prayed and prayed about this, and was directed to the relevant Bible verses, which prove conclusively that our ally, Rep. Tim Murphy, has not fallen out of favor with God.

Here are the reasons Rep. Tim Murphy is still on Jesus' list of favorite elected officials:

    1. God prohibits abortion, except in those cases where He commands it.

Murphy's relationship with his mistress was, obviously, adulterous. And Numbers 5:11–31 states that if a man suspects his wife of adultery, she should be made to drink a poison that will cause her to have a miscarriage if she is, in fact, guilty of adultery.

    Numbers 5:21-22

21 here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse[b] among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. 22 May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”
So, clearly, while God treasures human life, and He really, really HATES abortion, in cases where the marriage vow has been broken, God will punish a slut by visiting abortion upon her. Though I'm sure it pains Him greatly.

    2. Children born out of wedlock aren't really human, and are of no use to God.

Furthermore, if brother Tim's mistress had, in fact, turned out to be pregnant, her child would have been a bastard. As you all know, bastards are forbidden from attending church, as are their descendants, for ten generations!

    Deuteronomy 23:2

2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
    3. Sometimes God wants us to kill non-Christians.

So, we are essentially talking about bringing into this world a baby who would be a non-Christian.

We know human life is sacred to God, but it's important to understand that when God refers to human life, He means believers who follow Him.

God hates to ever see any human life extinguished, but He tells us sometimes it is necessary for some to be killed, in order that his infinitely loving, compassionate, mysterious, hard-to-understand plans might be fulfilled.

And the some who must sometimes be killed are often unbelievers.

Kindly refer to Deuteronomy 13, Deuteronomy 17, and Numbers 13 for some examples of the value God places on the lives of unbelievers, relative to the value He sees in your life and mine.

    4. God forgives all who repent and believe in Him.

Was it wrong for Rep. Tim Murphy to allow himself to get caught up in an extramarital affair? Absolutely! Will God cast brother Tim into the Lake of Fire for asking his harlot to have an abortion? I don't think so.

God's forgiveness is infinite, and I'm sure our friend Tim has already repented and asked Jesus to forgive him.

    1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see brother Tim at our church's next clambake!

Re: Four reasons God will NOT damn Pro-Life Rep. Tim Murphy for urging whore to have abortion

I think you have explained the matter well. Of course, it is all based upon Paul's inspired writings:

The theological argument is relatively simple:

In this post by by erik829 (an unsaved heathen) erik829 asks Landover:
“For the sake of argument lets say god is real, again im sure somewhere in the bible it says god created people and then in turn he created their mind which then means that he created how people think which then goes to say he created people to think about the feelings for a guy to like another guy so how would you explain that?”
    Pastor Billy Reuben then answers:
I explain it by opening my Bible to Romans, chapter 9. You'll want to read the whole chapter to gain a full understanding, but here is the gist.
    • God intentionally creates some people solely for the purpose of stoking the fires of Hell. (Rom 9:22)
    • God arbitrarily chooses some folks to have mercy upon, and saves them. (Rom 9:15-16)
    • God hardens the hearts of the other folks so that they cannot become saved. (Rom 9:17-18)
    • The reason God behaves this way is so that He may show His wrath, make His power known, and make known the riches of His glory. (Rom 9:22-24)
    • God's behavior may seem unfair to us, but we have no right to complain, because God's ways are not our ways, and He is just in ways that we cannot see. (Rom 9:14; 9:19-20)

To anyone who has read the Bible, we also have the reference back to
    • Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren
    • Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
    • Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
      and thus
    • Romans 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.

We can therefore see that because God speaks to the spiritually high (Sen. Murphy), then God has approved the abortion as the fetus was merely going to stoke the fires of Hell and was therefore a worthless soul who would only have caused trouble in the world.

Well I'm crestfallen to learn Rep. Murphy has resigned.

This is a tragic miscarriage of justice, and I have a lot to say about it. But not now. I just need to curl up with a single malt whiskey and process what has happened.
