  • Vatican Synod - Church of the Silly Walks

Headlines continue to eclipse the sinister workings of the Pacamama pope - so it's time for another edition of Pope Watch.

Yes, there's the recall of California's governor Gruesome Newsom (with forecasts of widespread voter fraud), Canada's upcoming elections with soy boy Justin Trudeau reportedly being stoned by his citizens, another great hurricane punishing the sinners in New Orleans (and went on to punish sinners in sections of New York and New Jersey, and Britney Spears has reportedly converted to cathylick and taking wafers.

Someone else has noticed the flowering of the incomprehensible "synod" of the cathylicks - is it Marxist dialectic with a whiff of Immanuel Kant? Even the Freehold City Council debates on the potential sin involved in permitting overnight street parking in Freehold are more understandable.

Everyone stay safe from the Fauci Wuhan Flu by eating that horse food (they're called Oats, and it also lowers your cholesterol - just don't buy them from the Quakers).

Monty Python Church: Synod on Synodal Synodality of the Synods

Monty Python Church. Vatican representatives provided evasive answers to clear questions at a Tuesday press conference on the upcoming Synod of Bishops on Synodality. One journalist asked for a "precise and succinct definition" of synodality. In response, Myriam Wijlens, a canon lawyer at the University of Erfurt, said it would be a - quote - "injustice" to the concept of synodality to define it before the synodal process. In flowery language, Wijlens referred to synodality as a flower that could only be described once it had had a chance to blossom.

The truth is: women dominate every parish

Women. When asked if women will be given voting rights in the Synod of Bishops, Cardinal Mario Grech, the Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, answered evasively in the negative. Women could participate at the diocesan level. The goal of the synodal process is consensus, he said. The right of women to vote does not leave Grech cold. But it is not a matter of voting, Grech philosophised, because the Holy Spirit relies on - quote - "harmony and agreement". This answer implies that Catholic voices deviating from the Francis party consensus, already established before the Synod, will be squashed.

Francis has avoided genuine synodal meetings with his cardinals for years

Ten thematic nuclei. The so-called "ten thematic nuclei" of the synodal process are vague and meaningless. They read in wishy-washy prose: "The companions", "Listening", "Speaking out", "Celebrating", "Sharing responsibility in mission", "Engaging in dialogue in the Church and in society", "With the other Christian confessions", "Authority and participation", "Discerning and deciding" and "Forming oneself in synodality". Word statistics of the preparatory document reveal that Church relevant content is absent. Confession, last things, Our Lady, the saints, the Rosary and abortion are not mentioned. Sin appears once. The Eucharist can be found two to four times, depending on the count. Various word forms of "synod" dominate and occur a total of 77 times.

    Now comes the synod spring

Synod spring. The preparatory document says that we find ourselves - quote: "in a decisive transition of the Church." After the Church decline of the last decades which was orchestrated from the top, the document cherishes the hope that the experience of the synodal process will - no joke, but quote: "bring a new springtime".

    Chaos strategy

Chaos strategy. Canon lawyer Ed Condon notes that the synodal process was made to produce documents that contradict Catholic teaching. He notices that there are no guidelines within which to operate. Publicist Phil Lawler says the disorganised process of synod deliberations will produce a mess of opinions and recommendations. It is likely that chaos is being deliberately produced to further undermine the Church’s faith, while the Vatican is cracking down on anything Catholic with rigid laws.

    Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Re: Vatican Synod - Church of the Silly Walks

Since these frequent "Synods" offer Catholic priests free airfare to beautiful places and never amount to anything, one has to wonder what their purpose really is? Could it be a chance to get away from the local parish and kick back a little?

And, there is the long history of homerism among the Catholic clergy. I'm guessing the "Synods" have something to do with that.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Is the Synod on Synodal Synodality of the Synods going to be somehow synchronized with the synodic cycle of Venus? That would be another shout-out to the pagan religions the Catholics love so much.

Since it's a bunch of Catholics, they should call it a sinod.
