Hollywood ( home of the elite homers) has yet produced another move making lite of Christians and there belief of The Book of Revelations.We as True Christians know that the end is coming,and that WE will join Jesus . Why is it that the Liberal unGodly Homers in Hollywood feel the need to make lite of the inevitable ? I say boycot the movie 2012 and all that support IT !

Coincidently, Dec 21, 2012 is the day the contractors tell me our family bunker will be completed and we plan to spend a few days down there making sure evrything works right. Has nothing to do with the Mayans or their silly calendar, we built it in case the terrorists launch a biological weapon AIDS attack or something and we have to spend a few years underground so we don't turn gay. Just want to make sure the place is secure and has no problems. Has nothing to do with the injuns, at all. Really.

Hollywood sure likes to make money on the fears of people.Bit is it more than just the Mayans,the nostrel dammus feller says the same thing about 2012.My self if Jesus is coming I am ready and waiting to go with him ! But them Homers sure should not feed from the fears of ungodly non christian people. I think maybe they need to stick with movies like The Passion of Christ,or the age old classic Moses.

I kinda like The Ten Commandments but there sure were a lot of Joos in it. I think Charlton Heston was the only True Christian™ in the whole thing.

Nope, 2012 will be a year like any other. The only existential risk man faces that year, like every year since 1949, is starting a nuclear war. Besides that, all should be fine.

Lola, that movie, "Passion of the Christ" is off limits for you. If there is a copy in our home I want it out of there and destroyed by time I get home this afternoon. That rather depends. The Bible doesn't claim 2012 is the end, so I would argue there is no significance to that year relative to any other. Though, of course, there's always a risk of a nuclear exchange, not that it's especially meaningful in this day and age.

One reason we could presume that 12/21/2012 is the end of the world would be to look at the U.S. Elections. 2012 is an election year and Obama will be running for re-election. If Obama is re-elected, God forbid, it would be a catastrophe. See, a president can only run for two terms, so the first term the president is more compromising and less assertive, because he wants to be re-elected for a second term. However, once he is elected for a second term, he could literally behave however he wants and make whatever decision he chooses to do so. He doesn't care if the public hates him; it's not like he has to worry about re-election.

History has shown that all presidents have more aggressive, personal second terms. Nixon had a fine first term, but in his second he got more ballsy and broke into Watergate. Reagan was well-liked in his first term, but in the second he made the personal decision with Iran-Contra. I want to make it clear that I don't admonish Nixon or Reagan for their actions: I fully support Watergate and Iran-Contra. But, the public didn't.

Look at Bill Clinton. He was bad in his first term but worse in his second! He got all cocky and thought he could get some action from a fat little Jewess. Even our dear Dubya was hated more in his second term, although I think it was for the better. After 2004, Dubya pushed more and more his own agenda and didn't take No for an answer. He didn't care if the public hated him; he just did what he knew was right.

Now, I find that very admirable and a good thing whenever we have a Republican in offense, but with Obama, it means he can live out his socialist fantasies moreso. Universal healthcare for the US in this term; next term we will be paying for African nations' healthcare. Obama has the potential to trigger a nuclear war or start an uprising or even a civil war.

So, 2012 is a very real possibility for the end of the world.

I swear sometimes that Lola she just can't think straight sometimes lately. She threw away her Ten Commandments movie! We didn't have Passion of the Christ after all and we never will. She got all turned around somehow and when I got home tonight and seen tofu on the table and no pie, well Lola got spanked her attitude adjusted. Lucky for her there was a couple steaks in the refrigerator and she's outside cooking them now. She's kinda mad, but kinda confused about why she made that dumb mistake. It don't matter none now. No harm done. I went and fished her movie out of the trash for her and she seen now it don't say Passion of the Christ.

This is a good example of why God made man the head of the woman. Sometimes they just do the dumbest things.

This thread has stirred up a lot of emotion in me simply for the fact that Charleton Hestons name has once again surfaced. Surely if there is an actor from Hollywood in Heaven it has to be him.
