amen, this is a glorious sermon that rights all the wrongs in what many people consider to be spirituality. How can a decadant one ascend to god by looking into itself for guidance?! seems how there is original sin than any christian who relies on theyre conscience is on a road to holy fire for eternity

Let me first say that I am saved, and I follow Jesus with all of my heart.
Following that, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just reading this post has filled me with such a righteous anger. I'm going to try to keep this short and simple, but we'll see where it goes.
You are wrong on most accounts. YES, the bible does say that homosexuality is wrong, and as a christ follower, I believe this. HOWEVER, this does not mean that we exile those from society. Have you learned nothing from the teachings of Jesus? The Son of God who ate with tax collectors and consorted with the most unholiest of people? Jesus's clear message is hate the sin, love the sinner. Instead of beating people over the head with facts so outrageous because they are taken out of contex, try living like Jesus. Jesus is the only way, so don't try any other way. I pity you for your most awful understanding of God's wonderful word, but what makes me so righteously angry is the fact that there are people out there that don't believe in God and they will see this post. You can't honestly think that a post like this will help them in thier journey with god?
I suggest you emerse yourself in the presence of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus, and just learn how to live the right way, because this is so not it. I'll pray for you, and all the people you may have caused harm by posting something like this.
Love is the greatest atribute, as Jesus says, and this post is so clearly devoid of love.

Speaking as one of the "unbelievers" here, I mave to say that I htink you may be a bit confused. These people have cited scripture for everythign they say is God's word. All you have done is say that what they have cited is horrible and should be ignored. Why? Can you show me scripture that tells me to ignore the 90% of the Bible that is awful?

I think you are pining away under the delusion that your made-up Jesus actually exists: you know, the one who doesn't mind people breaking The Law He told us to keep? The real Jesus may be found in The Bible together with the laws He has given us to prevent our going to HELL, the ones which were current only until He was killed (sacrificial Law for example), the ones which remain current (most laws): you appear to read The Bible sometimes; why not read all of it?

Please stop saying that the Bible is contradictory. It is not. Everything we cite, we support with scripture. You, on the other hand, have cited no scripture. Please do so.

We don't "decide" what to do with "it" any more than we decide what to do with hunger or thirst. Jesus explained it this way:
