Pope: "You should let me rule the world."

The Unholy See has issued the latest encyclical letter, Caritas in veritate. In it, His Unholiness Pope Maledict announces his vision for the world.

Romanist link (be sure to rebuke demons before clicking):

Originally posted by Caritas in veritate, chapter V, § 67 (emphasis added)
To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago. Such an authority would need to be regulated by law, to observe consistently the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, to seek to establish the common good[147], and to make a commitment to securing authentic integral human development inspired by the values of charity in truth. Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights[148]. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums. Without this, despite the great progress accomplished in various sectors, international law would risk being conditioned by the balance of power among the strongest nations. The integral development of peoples and international cooperation require the establishment of a greater degree of international ordering, marked by subsidiarity, for the management of globalization[149]. They also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations.
So the Unholy Pontiff wants a "world political authority" with coercive powers that trump national sovereignty ("the authority to ensure compliance") in order to ensure moral values as envisioned by the Roman institution. Gosh oh golly, I can't imagine whom he might nominate, especially given the Roman institution's history; can you?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Is that not the purpose of the UN?

However, there will not be one member of the Moral Majority here who does not see that tin-pot dictators, unreconstructed Darkies and various brands of Muslins all want to vote in the UN, when they also want Uncle Sam to foot the bill and tow their line!

Others, who recall history, will know one of Ratslinger's predecessors divided the world up between Spain and Portugal - this lead to endless wars and, had not our ancestors in Britain been successful, the US would have been Spanish (as opposed to creepingly Mexican't now!) and we would all be lazy catlick Dagos in big hats.

I urge all with influence to denounce Ratslinger and his Satanic catamites.

The Pope better hope that I don't come over there. I can find enough evidence of his heresy in the Bible to put him to death 100 times over.

Mr. Peters (and you're not in the line of apostolic succession, regardless of what your fellow separated brethren say):

What gives you the idea that the Holy Father wants to rule the world? He is simply setting forth his vision of a world run according to Holy Mother Church's interpretation of Christian charity and justice. Okay, so the Catholic Church has done things in the past of which we're not proud now, but that doesn't mean that everything we do or say is some sort of power grab, does it?
Matthew 16:18-19: So I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my community. And the gates of the underworld can never overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Re: Pope: "You should let me rule the world."

No doubt that the Vatican treasury is getting a little low these days and the papists are looking for a way to spike the sale of indulgences again – of course with them being given a monopoly by a one world government.
                    Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;

The whole purpose of the pope is to be a Man of Sin, Satan's mouthpiece and one world ruler:
Introduces Catholics to the real Bread of Life, Jesus Christ.

The pope is not holy and is certainly not MY father. God is MY Father. There is no 'Holy Mother' and True Christians ™ don't worship idols of the virgin mary or anything else. Your Cathylick church continues to lead people away from Jesus, to sin . Repent now and accept Jesus .

I think it would be wonderful if the Holy Father ruled the world. But then, I'm sure he's far too busy being Christ's representative on earth to deal with secular matters.
