Director of European Evangelical Outreach A Shining Example of Christ's Love Quite possibly the only decent, heterosexual human being in the whole of Europe
Oh come on. Do you believe everything you see on the internet? Would he really go through these lengths to produce those videos if they were just a "spoof". Don't be so gullible friend!
Psalm 81:10: I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
My suspicion has always been that the Godly Mr Current makes this statement to prevent being sued by atheists. Claiming to be satire and comedy allows you to speak freely without having to worry about the godless ones banning you from Youtube.
I think all is fair in showing God's message to the world; after all, it is the immortal soul such people are saving - a matter more important than life and death.

“We must reassert that the essence of Christianity is the love of obedience to God’s Laws and that how that complete obedience is used or implemented does not concern us.”
The funny thing is, that the man who made this made it in jest! Yet he has summed up our faith perfectly and has unwittingly proved our point of view to the world.

Disregard my last comment, I agree with this, he must be using the 'joke' label as a cover so atheists don't kill him for ruining their beliefs.
You know, i have often been amazed by the fact that "God" could create an entire universe in just seven days. now i do believe that there is some manifestation of a creator. i do not believe the theory of evolution. but are you really going to contradict the reasoning of a professor Stephen Hawking??? i mean come on, if you should worship anything it should be Ceiling Cat! haha i kid i kid!

Why should we trust the judgement of a retarded part-cyborg vegetable like Stephen Hawking? He can't even speak without a computer, there's no way he could ever form rational thought in regards to creation! I doubt he can even read the bible.

Hello, friend. Welcome to God's favorite forum. Why not head over to the introductions forum and tell us more about yourself, like what Church you attend, your favorite verse, your wife's best pie and etc?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Friend,
We have our Christian scientific proof; a first hand account of the creation of the world in The Bible. What do you have; some gimpy limy in a wheelchair. Hawkings is a product of the English National Health Care, of course he is a dangerous lunatic.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
I think most of us have proof of the existence of god aka the holy bible it is what most Christians including myself live by everyday BUT how we live by it may be different as well as how we interpret it. Some interpret it wrong some right but we all have our ways.
That's why we must thank the lord every second of the day we can.
I was told in a philosophy class once that 'circular arguments' are a poor way to present information. The example the video shows looks a lot like that. "God created the universe. How do you know? Because he said that he did through the bible (which we assume to be true)."
How can believers in creationism best state their beliefs that do not include logical fallacies? What is the best way show proof that is consistent with rational thought? I need help because i am struggling with my faith. that's why i joined this forum and im sorry i've come across as an asshole. Im just frustrated. Please help.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.
Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.
Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

The bible was actually written by man, about 300 years or so after the life of Jesus. Although filled with many good stories, they are simply that, fables and folklore. To be sure, all biblical texts that can be dated at all furnish important historical information. They reveal facts concerning the period in which they were written, but they do not necessarily contain literally accurate accounts of the events they report.
Moreover, most of the documents are later—sometimes by centuries—than the events they describe. A significant body of written evidence does not exist before the time of the monarchy, which was established with the anointing of Saul as the first king of Israel in the 11th century bc for example.
Most of what we read today in the bible was put together by humans. The bible and chirstianity in general was being put together as early as 325 A.D, at the Council of Nicea. Christianity before that was made up of many, many different factions with different beliefs.
One big thing they discussed and decided was on the question regarding the relationship between God the Father and jesus; i.e. are the Father and Son one in purpose only or also one in being. Back in the day there were tons of ways to be christian. You could be a Jewish Christian, a gnostic christian, a mystical christian, a gentile christian, etc.
Christianity was used by Constantine the Great most would argue, to solely unite a people and provide structure, to win a battle.
My point is that, a God may have inspired people to write great things that may or may not be in the bible, but to discount the politics and the human part in it is ignorant and irresponsible.

I stopped reading after this. Seeing this sentence just let me know you are a complete retard and ignoramus, there was not much point in going on.
Even the most liberal of historians will tell you that the last book of the Bible was written at the very latest by the early 2nd century (ie, before 125). Many scholars think the Bible was probably completed within the 1st century. And that's just talking about the books of the New Testament. The Old Testament was written at least a few centuries before Christ, even according to the most liberal of scholars.
Please, let me know where you found out this information. Any book or scholarly journal would be good, but an internet link will suffice, and is more convenient.
The dates of many of the texts of the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament) are difficult to establish. Textual criticism places all of them within the 1st millennium BC, although there is considerable uncertainty as to the century in some cases. The oldest surviving Hebrew Bible manuscripts date to about the 2nd century BC (fragmentary), the oldest record of the complete text survives in Greek translation, dating to the 4th century (Codex Sinaiticus) and the oldest extant manuscripts of the vocalized Masoretic text upon which modern editions are based date to the 9th[ambiguous] century.
The individual books of the New Testament may be dated with some confidence to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The earliest fragment of the New Testament is the Rylands Library Papyrus P52, a piece of the Gospel of John dated to the first half of the 2nd century. For this reason, dating the composition of the texts relies on textual criticism, philological and linguistic evidence, as well as direct references to historical events in the texts instead of dating the physical manuscripts.
Perhaps you are referring to an event that happened in the 4th century, a council by the Catholic "church" that made an official list of the book of the Bible. That is not when the Bible was written, it was when the various books that make up the Bible were officially named by the Catholics, which is of little importance, since the same canon of Scripture had been in use by Christians since the early 2nd century. You can find all about that here:
