So, I did some research myself just to double verify my facts.

The average adult male height in Rome at the time that Jesus resided there was 5'1" inches.

In the time of the New Testament the average lifespan is between 30 and 35 because of infant mortality, illness, and war. You are correct in that some people did make it to be elderly, but on average people did die in their early thirties.

As for the pinky toe information, it was either on Discovery Channel or Animal Planet during a documentary.

Your statistic is meaningless without infant mortality rates. Where the "average life expectancy" is "35" and ½ the population dies very young (birth trauma, infection, disease etc.) everyone who survives would need to live to 70 - and we know that they did live that long.

It was exactly the same in the 1700's. Infant mortality was high by modern Christian standards and the "average" life expectancy was about 40 BUT everyone who survived childhood lived just as long as we do if not longer.

That's why families tended to be larger, to allow for the early death of some children. The modern secularist however would like to see 0 children per homosexual "couple" and the world as they would describe it a billiard ball in space. In reality it is a description of the inside of their heads.

I have Fine Arts Bachelors and an Art History Minor with a Concentration in World Religious Artifacts and Monuments. I have studied a year in several seminary classes to better understand beliefs and my own thoughts on personal faith.
