A career in Creation Science? Apply now at LBU!
Hello everyone,
as a lot of people have been asking me for possibilities to make a career in Creation Science at Landover Baptist University, I've decided to post an overview of several possible PhD programs we still offer to anyone with a master's degree and an interest in Creation Science!
We offer, among others, the following possibilities:
- Isotopic Zonation in Limestone (Flood Hydrology)
As you possibly know, during the Great Flood all modern geologic layers were deposited. Idiotic secular scientists claim that the isotopic composition of certain microfossils can tell something about past climate changes, but as creation scientists we know that that is ridiculous, as God's perfectly-created climate cannot change.
We therefore suspect that during Noah's Flood, the turbulence in the bottom waters created complex vortexes which separated isotopically heavier fossils from lighter ones, and then spread them over the ocean in alternating bands, which created the illusion of past climate change.
Dr. Malachi Simonson is currently doing research on this, but he needs someone to do extensive testing in Hydrologic flume tank experiments, so that he can focus on computer modeling of these processes.
- Dinosaur Domestication in the Antediluvian (Paleotheobiology)
Most Creation Scientists nowadays suspect, after seeing the well-researched replicas of dinosaurs in Ken Ham's Creation Museum, that dinosaurs, when they were still alive, were used as beasts of burden and maybe also as siege weapons, the same way many desert cultures later on used elephants.

Prof. Zerubbabel Flogsworthe is currently leading research on this, mainly by inspecting dinosaur bones in various museums, to inspect them on bone fractures on top of their heads, which would imply the use of these creatures as battering rams.
Also, sites which produce many dinosaur bones need to be inspected on the remains of the riggings humans put on these beasts, as it is very likely that many dinosaur who were drowned in the Flood were surprised by the upcoming floodwaters while plowing the land of their owners.
- Leviathan ecology (Theoecology)
The Leviathan is known as an enormous serpent that lives in the sea:
Isaiah 27:1:
In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
As every Creationist knows, the Bible is the most scientific book there is, so Verses like these provide tempting research questions. The ecology of the Behemoth is reasonably understood by now (we are still unsuccessful in our attempts to catch one in the Congos, but with your prayers I'm sure we'll catch a behemoth before next month!), but the Leviathan is still pretty much a mystery for Creation Scientists, even though the creature is extensively described in Job 41.
Anyway, Dr. Ananias Jones is setting up an experiment with regular snakes, and testing how they react on the treatment described in Job 41. On basis of that, he hopes to draw conclusions about the reproductive behaviors of the beast, and to test the hypothesis that it actually was a Leviathan that seduced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, as suggested by Chick et al, 2007:
A Leviathan seducing Adam and Eve into eating the fruit (Chick et al, 2007).
There is also a possibility for field research, if the Faculty Council approves of it. This will consist of searching the ocean floor in the Phillipine or Mariana Trench, where this creature is supposed to live.
- Temple Bowl reconstruction (Experimental Theomathematics)
This is a very simple experiment: we suspect that the number Pi, universally accepted by godless atheist scientists to be something close to 3.14, is possessed by the devil, and should actually be equal to 3. We know this because:
2 Chronicles 4:2:
Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
This Bible Verse proves that Pi should be equal to 3.
Dr. Naphtali Edwards is currently seeking someone to help him reconstruct this temple bowl, a perfectly round one with the dimensions exactly as described in 2 Chronicles 4:2. Deep mathematical and abstract insight is required for this research.
- Hereditary dynamics of sin (Experimental Theology)
As we all know, sin was passed onto man by the sin of one man:
Romans 5:12:
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned
The point here is that, as godmocking atheists always love to point out, we do not quite understand yet how we can be guilty of something Adam did (at least, until we are Saved™, we are). The atheists always claim that, because of this, God would be unrighteous, but we know that that is nonsense, because God is Love (1 John 4:16).
Dr. Arphaxad Chrisley is currently doing research on the behavior on newborn babies, to test in what way sin manifests itself in the first days of human life. The final objective is to locate the "sin gene" in the human genome, which encodes for original sin.
- Influence of Sin on Intelligent Falling (Applied Theophysics)
As we all know, gravity is a lie. Several Bible Verses tell us that things fall down because of Intelligent Falling, which proposes an Intelligent Agent to guide things on their way down (this Intelligent Agent, of course, is God).
The major difference between gravity and Intelligent Falling is that gravity links the falling behavior of objects and people to mass and "gravitational pull" and such, while more realistic Creation Scientists realize that the reason that different objects fall with different velocities is because God chooses so.
A primary application of the technique of Intelligent Falling was to test whether or not people were witches: if people didn't sink when thrown into the water with a heavy object attached to their legs, then God didn't push them down through the water to tell His Faithful Believers that the person was an evil servant of Satan.
Test stand to scientifically test a suspected witch on presence of large amounts of sin.
What we now need, is even more accurate methods to test persons on sin, so that we will not be fooled by people who are unsaved, but claim to be Saved™.
Prof. Lot Weaver is now trying to experimentally determine the Sin/Intelligent Pulling ratio of given objects, and is doing extensive experimenting where he can use several PhD Students to assist him.
