        ALL catholics go to Hell. That "church" is a gross travesty of EVERYTHING God teaches us in The Bible.

        1. IDOLATRY

        EXODUS 20:4-5
        4 Thou shalt not make vnto thee any grauen Image, or any likenesse of any thing that is in heauen aboue, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water vnder the earth.
        5 Thou shalt not bow downe thy selfe to them, nor serue them: For I the Lord thy God am a iealous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vnto the thirde and fourth generation of them that hate me:

        catholics photographed in the very act
        of hating God

        ROMANS 1:23-25
        23 And changed the glory of the vncorruptible God, into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birdes, and foure footed beasts, and creeping things:
        24 Wherefore God also gaue them vp to vncleannesse, through the lusts of their owne hearts, to dishonour their owne bodies betweene themselues:
        25 Who changed the trueth of God into a lye, and worshipped and serued the creature more then the Creatour, who is blessed for euer. Amen.

        2. FALSE BAPTISM

        ACTS 2:37-38
        37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said vnto Peter, and to the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, What shall we doe?
        38 Then Peter said vnto them, Repent, and be baptized euery one of you in the Name of Iesus Christ, for the remission of sinnes, and ye shal receiue the gift of the holy Ghost.

        How can a baby, not yet commanding language, repent?
        Note the abundance of idols.

        II THESSALONIANS 2:7-12
        7 For the mysterie of iniquitie doth alreadie worke: onely he who now letteth, will let, vntill he be taken out of the way.
        8 And then shall that wicked bee reuealed, whome the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightnesse of his comming:
        9 Euen him whose comming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signes, and lying wonders,
        10 And with all deceiueablenesse of vnrighteousnesse, in them that perish: because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued.
        11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue a lye:
        12 That they all might bee damned who beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes

        3. FALSE PRIESTHOOD

        I TIMOTHY 2:5 For there is one God, and one Mediatour betweene God and men, the man Christ Iesus

        Now it may be that these "priests" claim we distort God's word, quoting from a Bible they do not recognise. Well, they do have their own Bible of course; what does it say? Here is that passage from the Douay-Rheims version:

        I TIMOTHY 2:5 [Douay-Rheims] For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:

        a false priest "mediating" in contravention of
        even his own "scriptures"

        I PETER 1:17-19
        17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons iudgeth according to euery mans worke, passe the time of your soiourning here in feare:
        18 For as much as ye know that yee were not redeemed with corruptible things, as siluer and golde, from your vaine conuersation receiued by tradition from your fathers;
        19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lambe without blemish and without spot,

        Satanic false priests from their thrones of silver and gold arrogate unto themselves a sham authority that is only perpetuated through brainwashing from infancy and by threats having no basis whatsoever BY THEIR OWN STANDARD: the corrupt Douay-Rheims "bible" home page here.

        Pay attention to its illustrations of DEAD JESUS: bogus triumph of defeated Satan. Bogus church. Defeated hoodoo.

        Thanatolatry in the Vatican

        THIS CORPSE CAN NEITHER HEAR NOR ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS

        TRUE CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THE LIVING SAVIOUR, DO NOT VENERATE IMAGES OF DEAD JESUS AND DO NOT PRAY TO DEAD "SAINTS"
        TRUE CHRISTIANS GO TO HEAVEN
        CATHOLICS GO TO HELL

        4. ONLY PERVERTS NEED APPLY

        I TIMOTHY 3:2,7,11,12
        2 A Bishop then must be blamelesse, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behauiour, giuen to hospitalitie, apt to teach;
        7 Moreouer, hee must haue a good report of them which are without, lest he fall into reproch, and the snare of the deuill.
        11 Euen so must their wiues be graue; not slanderers, sober, faithfull in all things.
        12 Let the Deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children, and their owne houses well.

        Here are some Roman catholic bishops. Vomiting on God's instruction, they have nary a wife between them!

        NOTE THE (apparently decomposing) DEAD JESUS IDOL

        What sort of man applies to be ordained into the false priesthood of catholicism? Men who have no interest in women; no interest in procreation: perverts like this:

        GENESIS 1:27-28
        27 So God created man in his owne Image, in the Image of God created hee him; male and female created hee them.
        28 And God blessed them, and God said vnto them, Be fruitfull, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and haue dominion ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the aire, and ouer euery liuing thing that mooueth vpon the earth.

        5. INGRAINED SUPERSTITION AND MUMBO-JUMBO

        • rosary
        • holy water
        • prayers for the dead
        • prayers to the dead (e.g. Mary)
        • fees charged to pray for the dead
        • last rites
        • demonic hallucinations masquerading as "visions"
        • demonic manifestations masquerading as "stigmata"
        • blatant witchcraft vaunted as "relics"
        • false murmerings about an "apostolic succession" of the type epitomised in the Borgia family crime dynasty..

        It goes on and on, a history of deceit, extortion, sex perverts, self aggrandisement and accumulation of the filthiest lucre wrought from those least able to represent their own interests; for Satan a joy to behold: his master-class! no wonder he is laughing..

        Perhaps Mr. roman_catholic does believe in some god, but it is not the God of The Bible.

            I just started readin the Bible on this site. Its been kindof hard to follow since I split off from skool in grade 6 and I dont understand the words. To make things easier Im just gonna say that it is correct no matter what the heck I think. That way I dont have to think about words. I just know that they are right because Jesus says so.

            No, but at least we'll try. Unlike your lot who blindly believe in something without asking questions such as "Will those people in places such as the South American rainforest or all across the African continent who have never been exposed to My God also be punished? Is that fair? Why do I waste my lirfe praising God when I have all eternity afterwards to do the praising? Is he really that egotistical that he must be praised even when we could be living our lives?"

              Nonsense, of course I've asked that question. The answer is right there in the Bible!

              Romans 9:14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
              and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
              16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
              19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

              Job 9:5 He moves mountains without their knowing it
              and overturns them in his anger.
              6 He shakes the earth from its place
              and makes its pillars tremble.
              7 He speaks to the sun and it does not shine;
              he seals off the light of the stars.
              8 He alone stretches out the heavens
              and treads on the waves of the sea.
              9 He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion,
              the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.
              10 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
              miracles that cannot be counted.
              11 When he passes me, I cannot see him;
              when he goes by, I cannot perceive him.
              12 If he snatches away, who can stop him?
              Who can say to him, ‘What are you doing?’

              Daniel 4:35 All the peoples of the earth
              are regarded as nothing.
              He does as he pleases
              with the powers of heaven
              and the peoples of the earth.
              No one can hold back his hand
              or say to him: “What have you done?”

              Job 33:6 I am the same as you in God’s sight;
              I too am a piece of clay.
              7 No fear of me should alarm you,
              nor should my hand be heavy on you. 8 “But you have said in my hearing—
              I heard the very words—
              9 ‘I am pure, I have done no wrong;
              I am clean and free from sin.
              10 Yet God has found fault with me;
              he considers me his enemy.
              11 He fastens my feet in shackles;
              he keeps close watch on all my paths.’
              12 “But I tell you, in this you are not right,
              for God is greater than any mortal.
              13 Why do you complain to him
              that he responds to no one’s words?

              Isaiah 29:16 You turn things upside down,
              as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
              Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,
              “You did not make me”?
              Can the pot say to the potter,
              “You know nothing”?

              Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker,
              those who are nothing but potsherds
              among the potsherds on the ground.
              Does the clay say to the potter,
              ‘What are you making?’
              Does your work say,
              ‘The potter has no hands’?

              10 Woe to the one who says to a father,
              ‘What have you begotten?’
              or to a mother,
              ‘What have you brought to birth?’ 11 “This is what the LORD says—
              the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
              Concerning things to come,
              do you question me about my children,
              or give me orders about the work of my hands?
              12 It is I who made the earth
              and created mankind on it.
              My own hands stretched out the heavens;
              I marshaled their starry hosts.

                • Re: Are You an Atheist?

                  from observations and actual conversations:

                  many people think "relativism"
                  many people ask these questions:

                  "why do some people feel forced to go to a building on sunday ?
                  i'm sure it's not about buildings."

                  "why do some people just boast to others and try to outwardly appear righteous ?
                  i'm sure it's not about human strength, works, outward appearances nor achievements."

                  "why do some people pretend and put on masks in order to try convince me?
                  i just wish they can be sincere to me".

                  * * *

                  many believers try to argue with the above logic using their own human strength.
                  here are some passages from Scripture:

                  * * *

                  Light has come into the world

                  God is love

                  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life

                  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins

                  God is Spirit

                  The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit

                  Salvation is of the LORD

                  It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy

                  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast

                  Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death

                  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

                  Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

                  Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
                  And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

                  The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

                  Love your neighbour as yourself

                  Jesus is Lord

                  "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord

                  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another

                  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you

                  But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us

                  For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

                  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all

                        hi !

                        apologies to you, for anyone who has offended you in the past with certain words.

                        what are the three theological virtues from the "catechism of the catholic church". what passage in Scripture is often quoted ?

                        (depending on translation):

                        "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity"

                        "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love"

                        please read: Deus Caritas Est - encyclical letter
                        what are the two Scripture passages that are first quoted ?

                        "God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him."

                        "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

                        please have a think about Scripture passages in the above post and also reflect on the following passage:

                        * * *

                        Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

                        In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

                          hi !

                          please see the post on the introduction on the intro board.

                          in response to your question, here's another passage from Scripture

                          "At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."

                            Amen, brother!

                            Glad to find someone else who believes in predestination!

                            John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

                              Despite what you say, you seem to have it right (above). One does not capitalise when one refers to a god, but one does when refering to God as His name. We do this in English: nothing to do with respect.

                              Germans think English is egocentric because we refers to ourselves with a capital I, rather than "i," or ich as they write. When Germans write letters, they start their familiar word for you with a capital, Dich rather than dich. Nothing to do with respect.

                              When you write Catholic, doesn't mean you have any respect for Roman Catholicism.

                              Yes He is. Calling Satan "he," risks giving Him a gender.

                                hi !

                                some people might think "fluffy bunny" ... but what do you really think ?
                                below is an excerpt from an interesting article:

                                before we truly understand the sovereignty of God in salvation, we often think the burden is on us to “produce” decisions for Christ. we act as if a person's salvation is dependent on us. so when we share the Gospel and it is rejected, we somehow think we failed to talk that person into believing and that we need a more clever or polished presentation of the plan of salvation. we may be tempted to water down the Gospel next time in order to get the desired response.

                                * * *

                                "Salvation is of the LORD"

                                "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
                                Not of works, lest any man should boast."
