One war I was asked about was Viet Nam. The US feared the Domino Effect: if Viet Nam fell to the Communists, the whole region would fall under USSR domination and become a market for Soviet goods and services (including military hardware).

Earlier I was told to read a Wikipedia article about Saddam Hussein. Eventually I had my attention drawn to parts of the article that drew attention to the financial causes of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Before that I was assured that Iraq was already a market for US goods and services, although in fact Saddam used Soviet made Scud missiles.

If anyone wants to dispute the proposition that all wars are about money, I would be grateful if they would deal with the argument rather than employ devices that circumvent the issue in question. I take all evasions to be a rather unkind way of admitting that all wars are about money.

    Is that okay?

Trademarks cost money and you aren't worth it.

You hafta admit that as sweeping generalisations go, all wars are about money, is difficult to question.

No. Most wars, as I have repeatedly said, are about resources.

A destructive cult's leader tends to be determined, domineering, and charismatic.
Let me get this straight: you think Brother Cranky Old Man is charismatic? How could heaven live up to its name with people like you in it?

That only proves my point even more.
